It’s controversial mainly for two reasons. The first is that Hoid is a lot older than Jasnah, and the second is that most people just don’t think they have chemistry because Wit likes her because of her paranoia. 

However, in my opinion, they’re both adults so it’s okay. And also, they do seem to genuinely like each other, and their superior intellects match up.

Hoid is like a gajjillion years old and Jasnah is aroace (or at the very least ace) so… It could never really happen. They do have a great dynamic but their ship becoming cannon presently is very nearly impossible.

I wish we did get more scenes with the two of them interacting though, they have a great dynamic.

Jasnah is asexual. That doesn’t mean she can’t romantically fall in love with someone.

Yeah, I knew she was ace, but at the same time she's just a very blunt person, and she interacted with Hoid slightly less bluntly, so I assume that means she's at least a little bit into him

Because he has an ulterior motive that means he doesn’t care if she dies as long as he gets what he wants. Personally, I don’t think that matters because she knows that and doesn’t care. They’re both using each other, which isn’t the healthiest relationship, but not the worst either.

I mean he literally has a quote that says he would watch the world burn to get what he wants, but that doesn't mean he can't care at least a little bit about Jasnah. Jasnah has mentioned how he seems to genuinely like her. And possibly she might be how he gets some character development into not letting the whole world burn. That’s just my speculation (and hopes), though.

Hoid is a cheeky boi and since he’s not actually from Roshar the Safehand doesn’t really mean much to him and since Jasnah in the past has shown little care about her safehand except for the symbolism it represents for a woman of her standing. I imagined that it very well could have been either joke flirting or Jasnah wanting him to, to discourage other suitors. 

Btw I’m not trying to be rude or start an argument or anything. I don’t really have a side in this matter I just want all the possibilities to be considered, for everyone to be able to form the most accurate opinion that they are able

I’m pretty sure book four explicitly says that they’re dating. They are in a room together with no one else, and Jasnah openly talks about how they are in a relationship and how it’s going

isn't that they didn't match (they match very well ploting together) but that it just happened outside the pages. The last time they met she strongly disliked him, but in RoW they were suddenly both in "love". I want to know HOW this happened! The journey is lacking!

When Wit found Jasnah after coming from Shadesmar, they had some philosophical discussions about god and the hearts of men where Jasnah commented that she could actually agree with some of his opinions, and that maybe the walk wouldn’t be that bad. Fast forwarding a lot, they get to spend more time together consider Odium and the fact that she becomes queen and he’s her Wit. The more time the spend, the more they realize one and other’s intellectual ability and assets. And that evolved into love.

That’s my take on it, at least.

Kaladin's greatest ambition in life would be to be a lighteyes cop.  He would be enslaved without Amaram offering him the shards and would accept the ones Adolin gave him without a second thought.  He would also be revered throughout Alethkar as a chosen one. 

Dalinar would be "revealed" to be gay and in love with Odium like 10 years after the end of Stormlight in a Tweet, which would also include a confusing and disgusting statement about Alethi bathroom habits that nobody asked for, wanted, or needed.
