She sighed, a deep, heartfelt sigh, when she walked over, opened the door leading to the outside, away from the house, away from anybody standing around and waiting. Then she switly cut through his bonds.

"Go." She told him calmly, used her weapon to point at the door, her weight at her balls. She would watch him go, would make sure he was gone. And if he attacked - then it had been his decision to start a fight. If he attacked, she would fight, and she would try to kill. But for now, she couldn't quite hope that he would accept this gesture of peace, that he would go and leave them alone. And even if he didn't - at least she had tried. This was about her path, her way, as much as it was about him.

James looked back up at Cassie, eyes red, and a little glassy from the tears he had shed, "Thanks for listening." he said, quietly."

I think you might have gotten a wrong picture of Shana This was the only logical step next to challenging him to an official duel - but as she doesn't see him worthy of that...

There are so many options, from him starting a real conversation and taking a first step past his hate, up to leaving completely, it all depends on you.

When James starter to cry, Sara went out from the room top see what is happening in the rest of house. "Do you think, that I'm fitting Gold Here?" she asked Argoh, while looking at the garage door "I don't know Here anybody, I' scared that I decides to do it top quickly". "Are there any moment when you don't think a lot, before you act?" he asked it witout any accusation in his voice, so Sara decided to not argue with him. "Yeah, maye you're wright" she replied for the first time thinking, that it may be true

She blinked up at him, surprised at the compliment. “Yeah, sure. Thanks.” She stood as well.

Far too easy if she was honest with herself.

Hello darkness, my old friend. The lyrics spun unbidden through Evelyn's head as she considered the blackness to either side, lurking just behind the lights of the streetlamps and hiding from the warm glow that spilled from house windows. She hadn't meant to get back so late, but time hadn't really co-operated. It had an annoying habit of speeding up when she didn't want it to and slowing down when all she wanted was for it to pass. I wonder if there's an aon for that. There probably was, though she didn't know it. Even if she did know it, it would probably be best not to use it for trivial stuff. Messing with time resulted in, well, a mess. She reached the front door to the house and hesitated, considering knocking.

Evelyn hadn't really been here all that long, and she wasn't sure how people would react to her just barging in. In the end she just shrugged and went inside. They'd offered to let her stay, and knocking would probably mean pulling someone away from whatever they were doing to open the door. Which would probably be even weirder than just barging in.

And wow there were a lot of people in the living room. Like, a lot. Were those new people? Evelyn honestly wasn't sure. She hadn't been around long enough to tell newcomers from residents, though there were some she recognized. She gave a small wave to those in the room before heading to the kitchen to get some food. Like cake. Or leftover tacos. Or both.

Leona was already in there, working on homework. Right. Homework. That was a thing. A thing that needed to be done. Evelyn grabbed some food, and hesitantly sat down close to Leona, not sure if she'd be bothering the girl too much. "Hey. What are you working on?"

"Hey, Rob! Is that your cat?" She crossed over to the couch quickly. It probably wasn't his with how skinny it was, but it never hurt to ask. "She's so cute! Think I can pet her?"

Oh Cass, you're more like a Bondsmith than you think. James thought to himself. After all, he hadn't been much different when the Nightwatcher had chosen him.

"What do you mean leadership?" James asked quizzically towards the misty figure with a face like like an old porcelain mask. "I don't know what you 'spren' are, but I'd figure you'd do more research on the people you choose for these sorts of things." James surreptitiously pinched his arm to ensure that this wasn't in fact some wild dream or hallucination. Nope, it certainly wasn't. If I looked for people who were already leaders and guardians, that would defeat my purpose and calling, to help people realize their ultimate potential. The Misty figure that had called itself the Nightwatcher said telepathically, And you James Freeman, have the potential to help a great many people grow. You're empathetic, kind, and have firm convictions- I would not ask anything else. So James, what will you do? 

James stared, completely taken aback by the Nightwacher's declaration. He'd never been one for leadership, he preferred to stand in the background, yet the spren's words were remarkably inspiring. And yet, despite his mind's protests, deep within his heart he felt a burning flame, urging him onward. "Life before Death", he whispered, "Strength before Weakness" Now his voice was louder, more firm, and eyes locking with the Nightwatcher, he smiled "Journey before Destination"
