“Oh, @Lunamor, I have a question that didn’t really get answered. No fault of your employees, just happens to still be floatin around in the ole cognitive realm, if you get my drift. How many calories are in one of these tables? My friend was wondering.”

Radiant is still confused, but hands Vapor the jar of pickles she just made,  then tells @Rosharan A.C., "I think the tables probably have around 100 calories? But I would definitely advise you-your friend to not eat them."

“Well that’s good to know. Might make a light snack. Um, if you were to eat them, of course. Which I will certainly tell me friend not to do.”

"If you made them, why do you have to buy them? I suppose you used the restaurant's materials."

A large wood table might have about 800 calories based on the research I did.

It was a small wood table, then.

My question is why they have research out there about how many calories are in a table. That’s...mildly concerning. And pretty awesome.

Oh, wait. I made a mistake. A large table might have 150,000 calories.

Someone has asked how many calories are in wood. I figured out how much a table would weigh.

As the fourth wall breaks for a brief moment, A.C. shouts, “Holy Frijoles! One of these things could last me weeks!”

Apparently I was sitting at a very, very small table before :P.

So, one source said less than one kcal per gram, another said 4 per gram. A wood table at IKEA weighed about 190 lbs, and about 450 grams per pound.

Hmm, I suppose it would depend on the wood. Also, I think that kcal means kilocalories. I might be wrong, I forget how the kilo applies, but I believe that’s around 150 regular calories.

Oh. My bad...

*proceeds to make witty comment about how not smart I am*

edit: hmm. I just saw your profile, and it seems you are very good with math. I think next time I’ll just leave this kind of thing thing to you. :P

A.C. looks confusedly at the tables (following a 2nd breaking of the fourth wall) and then sits back down, thinking about cheese.

Well, there's normal calories, but those are small. Kilocalories are equivalent to the calories with which we measure our food.

Ember (2) waits in line behind Ene. He's thinking he'll try the soup, based on A.C.'s advice.

Calories are kcal, calories are cal

wood is made (half ish) of cellulose, whixh is made out of strongly linked glucose, just a fun fact

"Wait! The soup!"

Radiant apologizes, handing Vapor a hot bowl of soup.
