I did Singing in the Rain and had to wear character shoes (heels) for two days straight 9am-10pm my feet have never been so sore. Its not as bad as wearing a teapot though!

Yeah that sounds rough. I once was in a performance where I had to do a 10 second costume change backstage. Both characters had formal dresses with corsets. Because it was such a fast change, I had to wear one on top of the other. (And then I had to dance in one of them). Since then, I have valued the ability to breathe far more.

Edema Rue she/her Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 Yeah it was horrible. I had a couple people who were waiting backstage to help me, but it was…rough. Then there was the fact that the 2nd character had a hat, so I just had to kinda casually tie it on as I walked onstage.
