Bejarden he/him Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 Ehh it’s a 40 minute class in 12 hour day, 4 times a week so I also literally have no time for such an insignificant class. But yah I know it’s not like a ton if he would assign 1 long essay it would be fine but the constant changing random topics is very...tedious. Im not trying to compete with anyone else im really just writing this post cuz I’m bored soooooooo yah

Reveal hidden contents I’m kidding it’s fine ( my longest win so far) So far this semester I’ve probably written about 2500 -3000 words about 10-15 essays it’s not hard but it’s annoying. The teacher just blindly marks the grades mostly so we don’t even get feedback. oops.... I remember my last win and since no one had posted yet I was just looking at that post hoping it is going to say 24 hours before the next post. And it did, plus a few more hours. The One Ring she/her Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 We have to write 4 essays every semester, each 500-1000 words (That include the ones we write during exams). I might have to write more once I get to high school. I still think it's hard to write anything more than 600 words, mainly bc in exams, we only get 45-50 minutes (depending on the type of exam) to write. It's hard to find any good points or stories to write about in such a short time. But also because I rarely like the topics. I'm pretty sure I've written book reviews longer than 1000 words
Flyingbooks Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 I'm glad that I rarely need to do essays in exams. I like being able to procrastinate have the time to heavily revise & edit my essays.
Toothless of Shinovar Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 (edited) I found that when I was at the last stages of my school one day I would procrastinate then the next day I would work as hard as I could then the next day procrastinate and repeating that over and over again. Flyingbooks Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 Me too. I can never work at a steady pace - I'm always either procrastinating or working at maximum effort levels.
Toothless of Shinovar Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 There was a TED talk about procrastination. Here let me share with you the Youtube recording of it. It is not the same with me but it is still somewhat similer.
The One Ring she/her Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Yeah, I've seen that one before. It's pretty much my thoughts when I'm procrastinating
Flyingbooks Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Yes, and I still can't stop even though I have an essay due tomorrow that I've procrastinated on for several days. Which reminds me, I should definitely go work on it right now.
Bejarden he/him Posted April 5, 2021 Posted April 5, 2021 I shall return the favor you have done to me @Toothless of Shinovar
The One Ring she/her Posted April 5, 2021 Posted April 5, 2021 hehe hehe An now I shall do you the favor you have done to Toothless Question to @Toothless of Shinovar: have I called you Toothless before? If not, can I do that?
Flyingbooks Posted April 5, 2021 Posted April 5, 2021 I have finally finished my essay that I procrastinated on! (not that that narrows it down much ) And now I am joining the favor chain.

The One Ring she/her Posted April 6, 2021 Posted April 6, 2021 That was a very long win. To make this post less pointless, I'm gonna ask y'all a question: Do you like math? I've been wondering about this for sometime now, how many fantasy readers actually like math?

Frustration Posted April 6, 2021 Posted April 6, 2021 It depends on the type of math, I'm cool with just about everything but graphing
Shard of Reading he/him Posted April 6, 2021 Posted April 6, 2021 Honestly, Graphing is fun until I'm given a weird line and have to figure out the rule for it.
PreciousNoodle Posted April 6, 2021 Posted April 6, 2021 I love math, as long as I completely understand how it works and stuff so I can do fun (complicated ) problems with it.
Flyingbooks Posted April 6, 2021 Posted April 6, 2021 I love math! It's my favorite subject and I'm planning to major in it.
