sonnets instead of haikus

that would be so fun

 

can you imagine?

you almost finish your post,

and then you’re ninja’d?

 

sonnets are hard work

you would have to rewrite it

Hoping nobody sees the broken in me

 

But through it all and ever still

 

If my friends were drowning 

 

I would lift them up and out

 

Even if it required me going under
