Ravenclawjedi42 Posted January 23, 2024 Posted January 23, 2024 My personal opinion on the crab debacle: The physical realm is just a cluster of stars, nothing special, no crabs bigger than a mansion. The Cognitive realm is a beach, and has many crabs with strange names scurrying around on it. Each crab is a planet, and each has a strange back (one full of beads, another mist, another dead gods) which form the basis of Investiture on that planet. The Spiritual Realm is an all-powerful crab, which may of may not be the God Beyond and is the source of all Investiture. Completely unrelated but do you ever think that there’s a secret rank above God Beyond? I’m have convinced that the final reputation level will be Stick with a million rep or somewhere around there. Or crab…. 4

KelsierFortnite he/him Posted January 23, 2024 Posted January 23, 2024 My theory: Stick is Adonalsium. The Dawnshards were originally crabs and they used their crab claws to shatter Stick. The all-powerful Stick we see in WoR, although more powerful than all the other Shards combined, is just a tiny sliver of Stick's full power. Stick is the one who told Dalinar to "unite them," and he led Sazed to become Harmony. The missing piece for Stick to reform himself is the 16th survival shard, Calamity. When Calamity returns to the cosmere, Stick will be able to defeat the crabs once and for all. 1
Lunamor she/her Posted January 25, 2024 Posted January 25, 2024 I still have a scar on my leg from when my boot dug into it at Dragonsteel Con, I dunno when this thing is gonna go away I dressed up as Shallan, though, so I guess an ill-fitting boot was appropriate. 1
