Is there dirt in the forest?

Are there rocks in the forest?

Was the damage caused by some sort of shrapnel?

Is the damage an external wound? (cuts, stabs, etc.)?

Is the damage internal (internal bleeding, non-protruding broken bones, etc)?

Is the damage a wound?

Many things can cause wounds, I'm going to interpret wound in the loosest sense of it and say yes.

Are the wounds still bleeding?

What season is it? (If you don't answer this, I'm going to go season by season, so you might as well answer it.)

What month is it? (same thing as above)

were the wounds ever bleeding?

So he's been dead long enough for him to run out of blood to bleed? (You still bleed while dead, you're heart just isn't reproducing the blood so it runs out.)

Yes, he has been dead long enough. I know that you still bleed, but at this point in time his body has been there long enough that it can't bleed anymore.

okay. was the cause of his death blood loss?

the way you said it "He's dead, so no," made it sound like you thought that he wasn't bleeding because he was dead, not because he ran out of blood to bleed.

I've got it!! He's dead because

Spoiler

he got murdered:P

Is the corpse recognizable? Actually, that probably doesn't matter.

Is it a forest of something other than trees?

*Ponders greatly on it*

You would probably be able to recognize it as a human.

Edit: Recognize that the corpse used to be human.

Can you recognize who it used to be?

Could I?

I could recognize the corpse as once having been human.

It's not a person I would have known, just an average person.

Am I allowed to ask what you mean by used to be human?

Yes

Like you could look at the corpse and tell that it was a human, before they died. Instead of like just a pile of mush.

Oh okay. You never answered my other question:

Is it a forest of something other than trees?

Can/could the murderer fly?

Posted (edited)

Was the method poison?

Did the murderer use a weapon?

Could the murderer fly under their own power (not using a plane or helicopter or something like that)?

Wait but...but there's no trees...how is it a forest?

Nevermind that's not a yes or no question.

(if there isn't something making it a forest, it's a plain.)

It is a normal forest. To say more would to be to give you a clue.
