Overpowered Magic Combinations!

  1. 1. Which World's Magics would you pick

Lol I like the way you are thinking. You could write an interpreter and make a high level derivative of AonDor. Something object oriented, and with a built in keyword to produce massive fireball. It would be perfect.

Also about an unbounded blob of investiture, given the fact that the shards in many ways embody human thought (lets not go into which causes the other), wouldn't all of that "spark of life" be divided among the various shards? This would make sense if investiture is most closely linked to the cognitive realm, which is implied given how the nahel bond works.

Or maybe I can go deeper into Dor to use something like assembler without the need to use all these shapes and forms?

This is true... That would take significant access to a shard's raw power. A shardholder could certainly do this...

Also, in all fairness, awakening is also a bit like a programmed command for magic. If one were to combine these two things... Many unusual "programmed" magical constructs could be created. Objects/beings with both awakened commands and aon-based magic.

Yeah, I was thinking about that combination (Elantrian Awakener), but you can't do any complex Command and you're limited to Awakening one object at the time (or is it possible to Awaken multiple objects with one Awakening?).

Could you write a complex program in AonDor and then Awaken something with Command "Obey that"?

I was thinking more like have an awakened object following whatever command it wants... But you could enhance its functionality by also drawing aons all over it.

Windrunner + Feruchemist seems like the best choice to me. You could use Gold to store health while replenishing it with Stormlight, and even store Stormlight in Nicrosil (I think that's what stores Investiture, not sure ATM). It would also be cool to do iron weight storing and Lashings at the same time. Basically, Feruchemy has a lot of different uses, and Stormlight is really versatile in that it complements many Feruchemical abilities.

What would happen if you tried to store an attribute in a Shardblade? Prepare for epicness!

I highly doubt a shardblade has enough capacity to hold more investiture to have a charge to be honest . . .

Well Atium is almost pure Investiture and it still holds a charge, Shardblades are essentially little pieces of Honor & Cultivation so I imagine they'd be classified as god metals for Scardian purposes.

Yet a Shardblade would be hard to push on, because of the Investiture in it, same as with a filled metalmind, and yet that's never a problem when dealing with Atium.

Nicrosil compounded with any radiant or elantris powers. Store any amount of investiture then burn it and you get unlimited supply of investiture for the rest of your life. Just keep compounding it like a blood maker.

But you can't choose Allomancy and Feruchemy. Just one of them. Otherwise, that would be AWESOME. *Compounds Iron while performing uber-reverse lashing, creating a singularity*

Have you read Alloy Of Law?

I think you can choose being a Twinborn.

Yes, I read it, but the OP says that you can't have 2 magic systems from the same planet.

Gotta go with Elantrian and Misborn. The combo of being able to create my own allomantic metals, slow but overpowered magic that can do basically anything, and the versatility of a Mistborn. Not to mention Elantrians are basically Immortal if I'm remembering correctly.

I wonder what would happen if you made yourself massless with iron and then Lashed yourself? Do we have any info on how much an iron Ferring can decrese his/her mass?

I don't think we know if one can remove all their mass.

Maybe this would render you immune to lashings, though, if it worked.

It would also make you buoyant in air, mind you, which may be inconvenient.

Your metalminds still weigh the same, so you won't float away into space at least. But you will float a bit.

Edit: You want the best lifeless ever?

We need to take a koloss. Said koloss will be soulcasted to steel, then cut up and given working joints while retaining most of the original fleshy bits to be awakened. Then we make it a lifeless.

Whether before, during, or after the process somewhere (whichever works properly) hemalurgically grant him steel compounder abilities. Maybe Allomantic pewter too.

Eternal steelrunner Koloss-Inquisitor lifeless more durable than (Warbreaker spoiler)

Kalad's Phantoms

! You just gotta feed it steel and pewter once in a while. Using its own body as a very saturated metalmind should help resist allomancy and shardblades to an extent.

Don't forget to coat in in a layer of Aluminum

Guys, stop, I'm starting to feel scared. Such Steel Lifelossquisitor would be very, very dangerous. I feel even TLR would have serious problems to survive fight against this.

Also spike it so that it has all 16 Allomantic and Feruchemical powers, give it Nightblood to use as a weapon, have Susebron give it all of his Breaths, have it bond all 10 Honorblades and embed a fully infused gemheart in it. Not OP at all.

Yeah but think of the resources to create such a creature...

You could probably make hundreds of a slightly weaker variant.

Just have a person train in fighting for a while. Then have them give you their breath. Then kill them with a hemalurgic spike. Then make them a lifeless with their own breath. Then spike them with the spike you killed them with.

You can do that and only use up a single person.

Or if you are willing to pour in a little more resources but still make a probably huge army, do the same thing but coat them in an aluminum alloy before awakening, and stick a few extra hemalurgic spikes in to give access to compounding.

You might be able to create a sentient (but still perfectly obedient) lifeless that is immune to allomancy and capable of gold compounding, and only by killing two or three people.

And if you wanted to make it even more scary, you could arm them with empty hemalurgic spikes, so whenever they kill somebody important they can stick themselves and become more powerful themselves.

Or somehow convince a Shard to make you an army of a million of super-monster thingies. Whatever we're calling them.

So basically you want to ask odium if you can borrow all his spren to cause your own desolation?
