That's also possible, though he said it wasn't canon. Voidus - do you want to make it canon? Anyone else have any suggestions? Which name do we prefer? I'm still for Allish but I'm good with Alleycommon too.

If Alleycomon was already used, maybe we should stick with it. Additionally it's easily recognizable as the name of a language.

Let's see if someone else has an opinion on this matter, before we decide anything.

I like Alleycommon. It also works well with the DA covert language Alleycant, it's a logical progression.

Maybe move him to the bleeding spike? That's the tavern we use at the moment.

To be honest I don't like it, when it comes to locations, because there is always a chance that a character wants to return - even if it's a ruin.

I think maybe an OOC post at the end of an Era stating that the location was destroyed, or is now a pile of rubble should be enough. Especially with the taverns we could always link the new tavern thread as well. Additionally you could add, that if you want to do more than stare at a pile of rubble, you should consult the one who created the location in the first place.

Just an idea, it's nothing I've really thought about for a longer while.

I personally like Alleycommon (I know I'm a bit late but also ha i take credit for this as i was the one who noticed). Especially considering you don't actually have to know the language, just live in the AV.

It's stated very clearly. The entire initial post is gone, and now there's only the text 'There is no tavern,' or something to that effect. It's also mentioned repeatedly in the thread itself. There is not much more that I can do to be more clear that it's inactive except hide the entire thread. Now that's an idea.

Hi everyone, so I've just joined and I was wondering where the best place to start would be. My character currently has just arrived in the Alleyverse, so she's not in a guild or anything (although if she does join one I can just change her profile to say she's been there for a little bit). I was thinking a location thread would be best, as it would allow me to get a feel for the Alleyverse without having to worry too much about plot.

I would go to Alleycity or the tavern. Maybe also post in the pm to see if someone has a little time. I've got a close to crazy character in Alleycity thread, but he could answer questions about the setting and all that, so feel free to approach him, if you're interested in some loose cd related role play.

I can also move another character to the tavern, I think.
