As Sequence had understood Conflict, passing down the knowledge to Aelinor, the blade would grant the wielder strength, power, and whatever special abilities they needed to match their opponent equally, making sure that a fight would come down to skill and nothing more. "... Both would be... nice..." She said. "But- ... I'm not- ... I'm not... special. I don't want to spend forever training while Rebus roams free." Her eyes focused on the man on the path now, studying him for a moment. "... Can he even be beaten? Killing him, or... this form of him here now, would that even do anything? Does he die like a normal person should?" She turned to look at Unintelligible. "Could you do it alone?" "He can be beaten." Unintelligible said firmly. "Narrators have died before. Rebus merely splits himself to the point that doing significant damage is very difficult. But that also should leave him weaker, at least in terms of raw Narration." 5 hours ago, Through The Living Glass said: She hummed in amusement. "Someone's feeling a bit bitter today . . ." "Bitter? I am merely amused." Malevolence's eyes glittered sinisterly. "Now that I have the pages, all the lesser villains are crawling from the woodwork. Because of her nature as a withergeist, it is impossible for her to care for you. I know this for a fact, and can prove it by her own words. "Do you know who or what 'Plot' is? I cannot say I've ever heard of him before." -- "That is... very bad." Unintelligible said. "Where will he carry out the ritual?" 1 hour ago, SpiritOfWrath said: The figure, disfigured, was willing to aid Malevolence, if he wanted. There would be a trade.
