As they approach, the front door is already open. Cep stops just shy of it. "What d'yeh think? Trap?"

Taeidin stops as well. 

"They should not have been able to anticipate our coming. An open door does not signify trap to me any more than a closed one, merely that there is almost certainly someone inside, else they left in a hurry, for there is no reason we should be incapable of opening a door ourselves, nor to cue us as to something being off. Perhaps they are expecting a group of people to be arriving." 

He hesitates as he says this. 

"Hmm. And now I have looped back to the beginning. We should proceed cautiously."

When he speaks, his voice is silky smooth, but undercut by a growl. "Hello, me. It's time for you to go." Cep's eyes widen as the new arrival grabs him by the collar and throws him through the door, which then shatters into splinters that are consumed by the Mindscape.

"As for you, broken one," he says, turning to Erryin, "You should not be here." There is a snap, and Erryin is ejected from the Mindscape.
