The chickens began to sing a full choral arrangement of all Lady Bug's favorite songs, artfully arranged into a single whole. A flock of origami cranes craftily folded from stained glass flew through the air, refracting light intricately.

 

"No," Beosta promised.

She pressed her lips together, smiling. Globes of light whizzed up from the floor in a circle, making the stained glass cranes reflect light everywhere.

Xanther seems to be deluded, the first page read. He seems to believe he's an Author, but he displays signs of being a Narrator. Or perhaps he merely has the ability to teleport. He seems to believe he's in charge of the second layer of Nullite caverns

The first page ended there.

She teleported to all of the voids at once and began to fill them up with herself, searching for anything. 

 

Ahh, I understand the alloy a lot better now. 

She laughed. "You have quite the flair!" She did her best to keep up, then doubled herself as well. The music sped up and the rhythm shifted, becoming a ragtime. 

Beosta stared at him. 

"YES. SOBER. THEN MORE COLA," Beosta shouted. 

She giggled. "HIC. MORE COLA--- HIC." 

He grinned, and walked over to the food table. "This is good." he said appreciatively, taking a piece of bread.

He stepped into a large, open cavey system. It was almost like being in a sponge--- a black sponge glowing red with light, especially from down below. Red veins ran through the sponge, but only upon close inspection.

The door did not set on fire. It seemed Eof's house had quite to protection to it. There was still no response though.

The landscape stayed the same but for a deep echo of a sound off to the right. A lonely, otherworldly howl.

She lay her hand on the door to feel the nature of the protection. She was quite familiar with Nullite, and should be able to feel the difference between Nullite and prior Narration.
