Platypus' grin faded away as he focused, then attacked, not using any powers of Luxsprites, just his own natural talent.

Nameless defended from this attack easily, blocking each of Platypus's attacks with a casual air. "Not bad, not bad. Can you handle this?" He dismissed his Narrationblade and summoned Endings, spinning the dagger in his hand. "Moni certainly has affected this one, huh?"

Conflict morphed into its basic spear form and Sequence pointed it at the eye with trembling hands. “Who- who’s… who’s there??”

A light appeared from somewhere, revealing a tiny clockwork creature holding a red flashlight.

“Come join! Let’s go! In fact, right this second.” Falvan began walking.

Arranis follows behind the others, "they have really taken on bigger roles while I was away" he thinks to himself, before calling out "Where is the land of the trees Falvan"

Lovely.

The man looked at the bird. "...Hi?"

Crickets turned his head to look at the man. It seemed to want to know his name.

"You all are an odd bunch."

Crickets looked offended. He didn't think that he should be lumped in with everyone else. He was a perfectly normal bird, after all.

Crickets froze. Sandy got the impression that he had thought normal birds could have conversations like this.

"...Oh. Yeah, this is unusual."

Oh dear. I fear my cover has been blown. Crickets looked embarrassed. Since my secret is already out with you, do you mind telling me what normal birds are capable of? So I don't repeat my mistake.
