"I see. I will warn you, the Narrators and other wielders of Plotblades are won't like it and will probably come together to stop you. Platypus would with anyone willing at least."

"Good luck. Not all are as compliant as Sequence, and you'll require significantly more power than you currently wield to best even Platypus, and he's still new!"

The brave adventurer feels skeptical “So, when does the trial to decide who gets the Blade of Plot and Sequence’s power start?”

"Wait, I thought Sequence's Narration had a different trial." Kilometers shrugs. "I'm okay with combining them though."

[NameIess]

"Well, trials then. When do they start?"

[Immortal Platypus]

"No clue. Guide? Inspector? Wait, you didn't ask what the inspector is doing here. And you didn't say what you're doing here."

Sequence gaped, “Th-that’s not fair! I’m practically helpless without my power! How am I supposed to win it back?”

[Immortal Platypus]

"Aw, Sequence, I'm sure you can do stuff. You have the weird gray powers after all, don't you?"

[NameIess]

"Don't worry Sequence, I'm sure you can argue your case just fine without Narrator powers."

[Immortal Platypus]

"I doubt the trial is proper reasoning. And it we win the Plotblade you could probably use it in the trial for your Narration if that trial happens afterward."

[NameIess]

"Wait, you guys think this is going to be like a trial trial? I was thinking that Onyx was going to judge us, not test us."

And, noted, replies the guide. Now that you are all accounted for, the challenge may begin.

She waved her hand, and the floor lifted up into pedestals about waist height in front of each person. Doors slid open on each wall, revealing rooms filled with wooden blocks of various shapes and sizes.

The rules of the game are simple, the guide explained. You will construct a tower made only of the materials in these rooms. You are all in human form; you may use only human strength and skill to solve this problem. The first person to build a tower that reaches the ceiling wins.

Now. Begin.

Sequence sighed. “It’s the same thing as Everyone’s power, but it’s not nearly as strong. Plus it’s plain old boring.”

"I think it is, otherwise wouldn't they call it judgement?"

"Yes, so I don't think we'll need any combat powers or the like." The brave adventurer shrugs. "But Sequence, you can have my sword skills if you want. I probably won't need them, and you'll be able to use them just as well as me anyways."

[Immortal Platypus]

"Can you give those away? And I using my mind-reading, I can confirm that part of the challenge will need no combat. I can't say for all of it though."

[NameIess]

"Yes, I can give it away. I've picked up a few tricks throughout my life."

[Immortal Platypus]

"Okay. They were Narrated to you so I didn't know that you could give them away."

[NameIess]

The brave adventurer shakes his head. "That's exactly why I can give them away. I couldn't give up my own natural powers, but Narrated ones? Those are easy."

“I don’t know…” Sequence said. “I made sure to give your power extra protection against removal when I Narrated it. Because, y’know, it would be really sad to get awesome sword fighting powers and then lose them immediately. Plus, I have Everyone to protect me!” Sequence grabbed Everyone’s arm. “Right?” Everyone stared at Sequence blankly.
