The waffles showed outward compliance, but they were secretly poisoning every single waffle that McWafy ate. As his powers grew, his soul weakened. And weakened. And weakened. Until he didn't like anything, not even waffles.

But then he'd got a hemelurgic spike that made him like waffles again

But it also put him under the influence of Experience. Experience now controlled McWafy's every action, thought, and desire.

[The Awakened Salad they/them]

A cat was sitting on a rooftop. 

[Experience he/him]

And was startled away as something came out of the mist, landing on the rooftop then appeared to jump up in the air. A moment later, coins shot out of the mist, barely missing the cat and the person who had just visited.

[Rosharan A.C. he/him]

The cat then used its metallurgic powers to shoot these coins at the disturbance.

[The_Archivist he/him]

Archivist then put the cat in a box and hooked the box up to make it a quantum power supply.

Schrodinger's cat forever!

Nameless took the cat out of the box and Hemalurgically spiked out it's metalurgic powers.

[Experience he/him]

But the spikes made it a mistborn cat. It then shot the coins back out into the mist.

The Mist didn't like being shot at.

So it migrated south.

And Ruin never died. Scadrial came to an end, and Preservation and Ruin parted ways.

After Ruin killed Preservation.

But then Kelsier was Preservation forever.

At least until Ruin killed him.

Somewhere a caterpillar munched on an indigo leaf.

It then turned from it's drab grey color to a perfect purple. Then it awakened another indigo leaf to follow him so he could eat it when he got hungry again. Because of this, he turned grey again.

The caterpillar’s name was Mumebron.

The cycle repeated over and over again.

Mumebron was eating waffles.
