Bozo watched Havel as she began her story anew. A gray bunny rose from the ground and looked at him. “Papa?” it asked.

Bozo was confused. Did Narration have such power?

FT poked his head through the hole in the fonts, "Right, me and Nameless will get the last piece of the crystal from TST, that might hold the gods for a while, DEFEND THE VEGETABLES!!!" with that less than heroic departing phrase FT leaped into TST.

After the preceding events: FT paused, "If it's a pocket dimension, size of Narrattory Power shouldn't make a difference, right?"

Uhh... There is no Healthium in TST, I am going there because the mimes can hold off the gods for a while, if not indefinitely.

Silence snorted. The point of this is not what I can do. Of course I can hold back your gods. I could destroy them easily, if I wished. The point is what you are doing.

FT froze between two fonts, "Excuse me?"

And what I am doing is running away.

The piece you seek is there truly, said Silence in a tone of kings and warriors. Falter not on your quest.

"Seriously! I just got back!" FT groaned and banged his head on a nearby building, because that's what heroic types do when in distress. "Right new plan." he turned to the gathered Narrators, waiting for someone to have a flash of brilliance.

Nameless, said Silence, you brought this here. It is your duty to see it through.

"Hmph," Nameless grunted: "I can't help fight these gods."

Nonsense, said Silence. A path has been set, has it not? Walk down it. Or find another way, if it suits you better. It matters not which you choose, so long as you progress.

Michael shot a meaningful glance at Aqua, but before he could even open his mouth-

No. Absolutely not. No way. Aqua flashed twice angrily for good measure.

"But Aqua," Sophie pleaded. "Xino will die without you." She sniffed. "We came here to save 'im. If you can help him, then you should."

"It's kind of in the job description, unfortunately also on days like today."

You misunderstand me. I literally cannot fight them. My narrative power was corrupted when the blob absorbed it. As soon as they get free I will be under their absolute control. Why else would I have volunteered to guard this rock? And why else would I have fallen asleep even though the enchantments in this chamber make it impossible to do so? Their champion influenced me, as well as tapping into my power to give him a boost. I can't fight them.

Silence gazed impassively. Your only limitation is your imagination, Nameless of the Shard.

Well my imagination tells me that it would be impossible to narrate someone on both sides of this conflict, and that it will heighten the narrative tension to do this, so I am sticking with this. I will help find the Healthium though, but if they break free, I will be no help to you.

Silence gave a slight nod. Very well. There is no shame in following rules.

Also, I might enjoy attacking my fellow narrators.

Unfortunately for @FatherTiempo, and all healthy kind, time passes substantially faster in TLT than TST, so he was too late. Sugar and High-fructose corn syrup were free.

In a limited sense of the word, of course. The dreamseed still held- but the mind of the sugary overlords was no longer clouded.

Luckily, someone was able to fetch some of Fantastic's castle to slow down time.
