A toastmunk was like a breadmunk, but it’s sonic screeches turned living material into butter instead of Arsenic. They were also deliciously soft and light, unlike the breadmunk, which was hard and flavorless.

Jacob looked over the rims of his glasses with an unreadable expression. He sighed and turned to his clipboard, writing something down and shaking his head.

The figure regarded Jacob slyly. And started forward. 

It then ran into an invisible wall. It was taken aback. It slammed its hands against the seemingly empty air and it screeched a chilling cry, revealing long, pointed, black teeth.

Furret was bored. He was tired of watching, and occasionally popping in with popcorn, then disappearing for days. He decided the best way to rectify this, was to create a vessel. A manifestation of himself, he could insert into this strange world. But what to call it? He'd think of that later. For now, he'd drop the vessel into the world.

 

The vessel fell from the sky, and smashed into the ground, near the strange figure. Somehow, he was completely unharmed. "Ugh... What the hell? Where am I?" He looked around, very confused.
