He whispered the vital information in the Narrator's ear.

The other Narrators watched Narrator Pheonix, the anticipation killing them.

Star herself sipped some lemonade. At least this wouldn't take as long as it had taken Jasnah to finally realize that Kell wasn't all that bad... She stifled a smile.

She wondered to herself why she was letting this happen. It was honestly crazy to her that she was even still breathing in the first place, considering what had happened a few pages ago. She had expected to have been locked away by now, some poor Narrator forced to constantly keep her silent. Pheonix had changed all that. He was a sweetheart and she truly appreciated him. But it seemed so... fast. Not that she didn't enjoy a fast romance. *cough* AJ and Thought. Thought had no idea what she was doing and AJ is just a lovestruck boy who won't say no, especially because she forgave him *cough*

Now she was just... sitting here. It made sense, she supposed. She didn't find herself drooling over her fellow Narrator. She stood by her previous statement; If he wanted her, he would come for her. However, she was not above hastening his efforts. What do you have, she thought, that I want? How much do you really need me? And what are you willing to do to sweep me away? She sipped her drink again. For an entity of creativity, plot, and words, she didn't care all that much about her own story. More, perhaps, than the other Narrators, but still very little.

But that, she supposed, was all irrelevant.

Narrator Lunamor eventually grew bored of waiting and decided to try and make an entire bowl of popcorn by putting single kernels in the microwave and popping them one at a time.

The popcorn kernels simply blew up from intense heat, and Lunamor realized the heat was too much for the kernel. Stick already knew this from personal experience.

I am awake!

Narrator Pheonix woke up in a panic. He still hadn't figured out the information he had been given, which meant... he was going to have to do it himself. With no guarantee it would work.

Oh, Author, he thought desperately.
