Unintelligible could feel a pulse. A very strong pulse, and very fast. It felt like a drum under his finger tips, simply more blood than a normal human. And much faster. At least twice the speed of a human heart, it raged through Cadewyn's body. As he felt the pulse, he also felt Cadewyn heating up, from the inside. The vein first grew slightly warmer, then much warmer, hot to the touch. Then, the heat faded and it glowed. A pale blue, like the hottest fire, that glow spread through his veins and arteries, lighting him up from under his skin just a little.

His eyes snapped open

Unintelligible flinched. "Cadewyn? Are you alright?"

Cadewyn opened his mouth to answer, the immediately clamped his teeth shut and looked away as blue flames hissed from between his teeth, the air around his face scalding. 

"Cadey!!" Eepy lept on him, nuzzling his face. 

"...Eepy." He scooped her up and looked at Unintelligible and  Sequence, "I... I, am." his words still seemed stilted, as if he were getting use to talking. "Sorry. I... I did not expect such power." he looked at Ryver, "Did you tell them my name?"

"Yes. I do hope you don't mind." Ryver bowed to him.

"Yeah yeah whatever." he placed Eepy gently on his shoulder. "Anyway, I'm fine." he stretched his wings out to the sides, a full eight meters in length, and stretched his tail. "These are new." he folded them back. "What do you people need anyway?

Narrators could do so easily, if they knew the concept. And they're not bound by the conventional laws of physics, so they could make FTL ships if they wanted to, though most of them prefer to simply teleport around everywhere.

"Ok, sure." He unsheathed his sword, a black blade that reflected no light, like a void in the air, a white glowing halo around it. "What powers though? Up till now all it done is remain sharp no matter what, and I don't tire of using it till the fight is over."

No way... This planet... oh sheets He had accidentally gone between universes. How the-
Something was wrong. He framejacked just in time to see that a rocket would hit him in less than a millisecond. He had just enough time to calculate if he would be ok, and determined he would be. He detached all of his assets in an attempt to spare them, and rescaled his framerate to normal time. The rocket slammed into his shuttle, the Heaven V5, and he plummeted to the surface of the planet.

Eepy licked his face. "And I'm going to stay with Cadey."

Ryver shrugged, "I made this problem. It is my duty to fix it, if I can."

Sequence nodded, somewhat reluctantly. “… Very well. Thank you.” Shakily, she sat down in a nearby rocking chair, moving very slowly and laboriously. She looked deathly pale and was poking gingerly at her side. 

Aelinor, a tall dark haired woman who looked a bit like Sequence, appeared, looking around the group with narrowed eyes. She knelt at Sequence’s side wordlessly, setting down a small bag of medical supplies. Sequence lifted up her shirt a bit, exposing the white bandage wrapped around her midsection. On her left side, the bandage was marred by a slowly spreading patch of blackness. Aelinor looked up at Sequence with a nod. And Sequence nodded and let her shirt back down before standing up.

”If you will all excuse me for a while, I must go change this dressing.” She stretched with a wince, Aelinor offering her arm for support. “Before I go, is there anything you all need to prepare?”

That’s really powerful, of course, but narratively there’s little to be gained by switching from nanotech to picotech (or I suppose it’s switching from picotech to femtotech), especially considering Rebus’s access to magic. The AI proton thing is really cool, though - of course, it seems as though the hyperadvanced circuits could be placed outside a proton without too much trouble.

Taeidin considers this, then sets down the orb. He is here to better understand Asharak's motives so he may convince him to recombine with Cep, and seemingly the information found in these drawers is what he is looking for, but the vague clues and impressions left are not particularly useful. He supposes that he can figure all out with enough time, but there ought to be something more concrete. And then there is the matter of finding a way out... it will likely appear when he is done here. Taeidin looks around, somewhat miffed. He can tell he is close to understanding something important, but it remained elusive.
