Symbol blushed deeper. Stupid turtle was gonna give her heart heatstroke. Or her lungs. Or whatever was feeling all warm.

“Hi, Sheldon,” she cooed. “I won’t leave you. Don’t worry.”

Maybe someday, if her plan worked, she could actually learn to care about him.

There were books about pretty much everything. Some were one-word titles. It was pretty much a dictionary for places and characters. She saw books called Xanther, Nemesis, Keys, and Bird Furious, to name a few.

Beosta complained loudly.

She wondered what had been here, and what had happened to it.

Maybe a little, at its most powerful. But I feel like the fundamentals are… well, fundamental.

YeRose stepped through. “Thanks.”

I don’t think we can make it another fundamental substance without basically rewriting the Thread’s history. An alloy would be ok, though, probably.

It wasn't clear. Perhaps this was simply an area where the Void between worlds was coming through because nobody had been there for long enough. The Void between worlds was not a fun place. Platypus had been there.

alloys work.

also @Immortal Platypus it could be fun for Cricket to talk to Hacob or Platypus

Hacob is missing rn - Symbol is looking for him, and Platypus is kind of being evil, so... probably not the best time :P

- About 50 pages before Platypus first showed up again -

Platypus pulled on his goggles. If his calculations were correct, this should work. He'd been wrong before, but this should be the right about of each element to pull it off. He grabbed a small chunk of Mordite, careful not to cut himself (stupid Mordite wounds take forever to heal), and put it over a device that left it hovering in a vacuum. Grabbing a small piece of Nullite, he put it over a second vacuum device nearby. Then, he took the final piece - a small tiny piece of Plot's, no, his Blade, and he put it over a third vacuum device. After that he waited. He had been in the Dark region for long enough he could recognize it, but he was too excited to stay there for long.

After a long enough time, dwelling on his failures, his mistakes, and the mistakes of the Thread, he was there. He was in Dark, and he was in tune with Vengeance. Now was his chance. His precautions had been taken, and the worst-case scenario wasn't that bad, so it was go time. He grabbed a set of pliers, forged from the melted Plotblade Character (yep, he has that one), and carefully brought the pieces right next to each other. By applying heat and pressure at the exact right amounts, the metals melted. Normally, they wouldn't mix, but through in a bit of Vengeance and some Ideal-Matching... and...

A blast tore apart his lab, throwing Platypus backwards. Failure again he thought, but as he looked up, he saw it. A Dark shard of metal. It was quite difficult to see as very little, if any, light reflected off of it. It seemed to have interesting properties. There would be time to test them later. For now, while he was still this Dark, he would need to make more.

FYI, for those wondering, this would (in theory) work with any Plotblade, but it would take different amount of the Plotblade (and some would work better with some alloys).

He doesn't need the witherlord, but he wants the witherlord. Desperately. He would do a number of things to get the witherlord's core specifically. He can be convinced, as he does not want to die, but he would rather have the withergiest for plot reasons.

Not huge plot spoiler, but yk (NO METAGAMING):

  Hide contents

He wants his most powerful core to most align with his intrests... *ominous music plays* Which is Defeating people (In this case esruc)

For some more info: Muin is going to make a psuedo Gem of Knowledge (As making the real Gem would require thousands of beings to die) that can draw power from other Cores. He is going to use it to defeat Esruc

I'm just gonna tell you now, there is a high likelihood of him dying if he tries to summon the Witherlord. IIRC, Thaidakar, Nameless, Moni, and more all almost died the last time the Witherlord was released/summoned. It's going to be very difficult to contain him (Luxite can do it, but only if you do it right, and I would all but guarantee he would do it wrong (nothing against him, he just doesn't have that experience at all)), and combine that with the presence of plenty of other things that could go wrong, summoning the Witherlord is what most people would call a terrible idea. If it give you any idea, there are only a few things that Platypus is genuinely scared of, and the Witherlord is one of them, with Mordite (which the Witherlord can control) being another. Hoid would be scared of the Witherlord. I'd at least recommend you don't summon him while Platypus is crazy, cuz they will end up in the same room, and bad things would happen from there.

Well... I'm planing to only summon him for a small amount of time, Shaping makes the luxite easier to mold and to test (so by the time he summons it, he will have the right luxite cage) and there is a way to make a mordite weapon unable to be controlled by the Witherlord (Luxite-Mordite, it's mordite, but it has the uncontrollable luxite). At least, that should be how it works

For now, while he was still this Dark, he would need to make more.

FYI, for those wondering, this would (in theory) work with any Plotblade, but it would take different amount of the Plotblade (and some would work better with some alloys).

Bacon grinned. Then he grinned again. So there were two of him now.

The two moved in perfect sync as they danced with Lady Bug, gradually getting faster and faster as they did so.

Bacon waved back. "Greetings, Cricket! How have you been since I saw you last? Did you defeat your archnemesis and avenge all those poor innocent people?"

Alright then. If I might make a request, could you retrieve Narrator Xinoehp from the past? He would be the closest, chronologically speaking.

Bacon stood with his arms folded, looking expectantly at Beosta.

Just now, xinoehp512 said:

"Did you trade it for incredible power?" asked Bacon curiously.

"I could," allowed Bacon. "But... it was my cherry cola!"

She giggled. "HIC. MORE COLA--- HIC."
