Sounds exhilarating. Do you try to kill everyone you meet?" Sure! What's the nature of the plotline? Well, my character is going back in time to get Luxite and a Luxsprite for a quest. A new type of being appeared, the Corrupters (also known as Shapers) which have most of the details here: Link. A shaper named Muin has embarked on a quest to get an Ennuller, Narrator, Luxsprite, and Withergiest (He's gonna attempt to get the Witherlord) core to stop Esruc. He believes that Luxite will allow him to shape a 'cage' to trap whatever Withergiest he manages to capture. This is mostly the plotline, more background info is in the link, but I think Rebus is in it (@Dragonheir), possibly symbol, (@Through The Living Glass) and one of @Bird Furious's characters. 1 hour ago, Dragonheir said: "I would agree." Rebus led her towards the dance floor, then stopped just inside the threshold and snapped his fingers. The crystals stopped doing what they were supposed to, and instead made a circle of light - almost a spotlight - in the center of the dance floor. While Symbol's back was turned, Rebus disappeared into the crowd. But what was that he had been talking about earlier... The Rebus in armor - who was there to represent his reputation and further his current villainous goals - raised an eyebrow. He didn't speak, though - perhaps a false sense of security could help him. "I am here, and excited? But also confused - this place is bewildering. My name is Jack, and it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance." The orb tried, addressing questions and archiving facts as fast as it could. They were too fast though, too overwhelming. The orb mentally curled up, trying to make the torrent go away. It didn't - the pressure was building. The orb let out a mental cry- and stopped time. The questions were frozen. The cascade of facts had paused. The orb paused, glad for the escape from the endless messages, then it picked one and answered it. It took every message it received, answered them or addressed them elsewhere, then placed them in a queue. When everything was done, it stopped Ennulling its passage of time and returned to standard operation. As it began to run out of space again, accumulating backlog, it stopped time once again and addressed excess messages. Among these messages was an interesting one. The orb sent it to a senior Ennuller bureaucrat, for there was no protocol for it. This message was a fairly odd sequence of paperwork making liberal use of the "other" checkbox, and conveyed, in summery, the following: Reveal hidden contents I, Dr. Rebus Honesty Clarke, would like to make a few requests and explain the signals you have doubtless already noticed. Firstly, the cause of these signals is my manufacture of a thus-far-unnamed compound of Ordered Chaos. I would like to requisition small quantities of Nullite to maintain this compound for scientific purposes, and am willing to grant a sample to the Ennuller Council for these same scientific purposes. Secondly, I have filled out the nondestructive antagonist paperwork (for the purposes of not being targeted by the Ennuller Council as long as I pose no threat to the existence of the Thread or the Wall), and would like clarification on whether or not the use of this material for nonscientific purposes constitutes a violation of any of the rules the Wall must enforce - I am willing to apply for a license if necessary. Thirdly, I would like to acquire paperwork to become a partially Ordered being in the future without violating any Ennuller-enforced laws. Fourthly, I plan to establish a loose organization of my own for the purposes of maintaining the Thread's existence (through handing out a bunch of random weapons to people on the condition that they fight any truly world-ending threats), and would like to fill out paperwork for freelance collaboration with the organization of the Wall. Rebus had checked boxes for both "I used indirect Narration to fill out this paperwork" and "as a chaotic being, I may ignore any rulings I don't like", but also certified that the information within was true, on pain of literally breaking his word. "I am also exited and confused. I just gained thread awareness, and just barely managed to keep from... doing what a friend once did..." Muin trailed off. "Whatever. It's fine. Noromyxo has nothing to do with this."
