Seems like an improvement!

Yeah :D

“Yes, but you told me that, so it might not be. But here, at least, is contradictory.” Template notes, probably adding more confusion rather than reducing it.

"This is Skavi magic. Powerful, and ancient. Crack the code, and we're out of here. Or we could wait till danger comes for us." he laughed.

I have some stuff I need to do for TLT, but I'll probably have to wait till after Christmas cause I'm gonna be gone for a while and this requires me being on. So nothing right now.

Kion doesn’t press the issue, instead taking out his flint and steel, then realizing there’s nothing to burn.
Enjoy your break!

That does make sense, actually.

Shoe watched them drift away, even more confused.

Well. That was weird.

*cough*

Perhaps you haven't been paying attention.

I've been cooking since before these lil buggers showed up.

:3

Yeah, Beosta agreed. Spirits... aren't supposed to be able to talk.

He stared at the spirits for another moment before shaking himself and swimming towards the coral reef.

This is really cool, actually. I've never been diving -especially like this- before.

Fael swam up to Tam. I've never done something this cool. We lived far from the ocean. The closest we had was Celen Lake, and that's nothing compared to this.

@Through The Living Glass

Me neither, actually, Tam replied, beak buried in the sand as she searched for something. I'm glad you're enjoying it though- I know I am!

She smiled, as close as a penguin could, at least. Where were you before, you know, all this craziness? You and Shoe don't really talk about that.

I agree. She propelled herself toward the reef and attached herself to some coral. Ehehehe. I feel terrifying. Look at the lil fishies, running away!

She stopped digging for a moment. Oh, um . . . I was . . .

She paused, feeling hesitant to open up.

Gosh, why was it getting so hard to talk about it? It hadn't been nearly this bad a few weeks ago . . .

Shoe thought she looked cute and silly, not terrifying. But what did he know?

He chuckled. Oh yeah, super terrifying, he laughed.

He snatched up a small fish darting through the water, then stared at it in shock for a moment.

I did . . . not think that was going to work, he thought amusingly.

Grr. I’m scarier than you.

…Except that you managed to catch a fish, I guess, she admitted grudgingly.

He laughed lightly and let go of the fish, letting it swim away . . .

Except it was movements were jerky, and it's tail was bent at an odd angle.

Oh . . . He looked at it sadly as it swam away. I think I hurt it.

It’s okay, she consoled. It’ll heal. Heya, Tam?

Feel quickly changed tune. Oh, ir’s fine. I get that. I didn’t talk about what’s happened for almost two years. Just… don’t let the demons drown you.

Oh! Well . . . that's really kind of you. And . . . I'll do my best. Thank you.

Yeah? she replied.

Could you fix that fish? We, uh, broke it a little.

All better!

Thanks, Tam, Shoe said appreciatively.

I gotchu, big bro, she told him.

Personally, she thought he might have been a little too sensitive, but she didn't really care.

Of course. If you ever need to talk, I'm here for you. Remember that you're not alone. Other people care for you.
