A buzzing dragonfly flew out and hovered in the air in front of him. Tellin narrowed his eyes at it.

The woman cackles some more. “I am not. Although you could say that he and I are associates. However, his methods are… lacking.” She bares her teeth, revealing a smile missing more than a few teeth. “He uses only part of his subject’s soul, and personalizes his weapons far too much. My methods are much simpler and much more effective. One soul, one blade.”

I had thought that it was a two way connection. Template, having been connected by Livetha earlier, can suddenly talk to everyone.

Rebus, slightly awed, whispers, “I knew they were powerful, but I didn’t realize it was those.” He remembers something - and by force of will, Narrates the description away.

The Emperor's eyes slowly open wide as he takes in what he just heard. "Y-You.. Th-That blade." He says looking back to the blade. "W-wh-who was this then" he says pointing a slightly shaking finger at the sheathed blade on the ground.

hey guys, just curious. I have been wanting to make a seperate RP thread that has more of a serious tone but still has light-hearted moments (Not that I don't like TLT). Or if there's already a rp thread like that , then that could work as well. I'm just struggling on how to either make one, or jumping into an already created one without me knowing what's been happening since it started. Ykwim. Any help's appreciated.

Fael made illusions of herself going in other directions and hid in a coral as a goldfish.

"Very well." The Wise Judge pulled forth a scroll sealed with the signet of the Brave Adventurer. "Here are the charges against the Great Wizard. Who stands to read them?"

For an extended moment, nobody moved. Then, slowly, the Valiant One stood. He walked slowly across the table to the Wise Judge and took the scroll carefully. "I will read the charges." His voice was firm, but his hands trembled slightly as he unrolled the scroll carefully.

"The charges against the Great Wizard are as follows:" The Valiant One cleared his throat, then continued. "Conspiracy against the best interests of the Order of the Brave Adventurers. Spying on secret matters of the Adventurers. Resisting arrest. Murder of brave adventurers." The Valiant One's voice faltered and he stared at the scroll, conflict running across his face. Then he gritted his teeth, murmured something that could have been a curse or a prayer, and continued. "Last of all, you are charged with conspiracy to claim the two most dangerous Plotblades for your own personal gain. The Plotblades of Antagonist and Protagonist."

The Hall of Judgement was a large circular room surrounded by seating all around, save for the walkway between the massive wooden doors banded with iron. At the center of the room was the Seat of the Accused, an imposing chair made from black wood, with chains and restraining implements of various kinds attached to the chair and surrounding floor. Directly in front of the chair was the Wise Judge's seat, and to the sides of this seat were the tables at which the Council of Brave Adventurers sat. Behind the chair and to the left was the table of the defense, behind and to the right was the table of the plaintiff. Directly behind the Seat of the Accused was the table of witnesses, at which sat everyone who had agreed to witness at the trial

"656 you say? Have you met Survivor 655 by any chance? He was..." A beeping sound interrupted Subversion. She frowned, pulling out her checklist. One of the items was flashing red. "Oh dear. I'm missing the trial! See you later, but I've got to go!" She hurried from the room, running back to the welcome desk. "Excuse me, but I have to leave. Very important trial that I'm supposed to be attending, you see. I'll be back as soon as it's over, but for now I must be going. I don't suppose you'd let me use Narration to get there faster?"

The dragonfly hovered closer to Sylas, buzzing inquisitively.

Since goldfish are not native to coral reefs, Tam figured something was up and turned into a pygmy seahorse, following her sneakily.
