"I... I'm called Palsu" The figure stepped into the light, revealing a man with brilliant golden eyes and shoulder length red hair. He held a chipped spear in trembling hands and wore a ragged grey coat marked with a silver wolf on the right shoulder. His boots and trousers were stained with dried blood. "You're really not Faceless?"

Palsu nodded hesitantly. "I guess so."

Moni stepped up next to Kion and Perseus. "Are we sure this guy's not a Faceless?"

"The well established locations that come to my mind are Nameless' house, currently inhabited by Moniker, the Ghanderflaffle empire, Onyx's realm, and the Wall that seals everyone within the Thread. I'm sure there are more, but those are the ones I can think of right now.

Besides Narrators, there are three other categories of being. Enullers which I'm sure you've heard of have the power of Ordered Darkness. They can speak in silence and suppress the powers of others, create bindings, and other things. Currently investigating them to figure out all the rest of their stuff. Withergeists are beings of Chaotic Darkness. They are of varying levels of power and nowhere near to Narrators on their own, but can bond with other beings to become extremely dangerous. They are as destructive as Narrators are creative, and hate all existence. Their leader the Witherlord is far more powerful than any Narrator, so it's good that he's sealed away right now. The fourth category is Luxsprites, beings of Ordered Light. They're almost all dead, killed by the Witherlord and his army. Then there are the four fundamental essences associated with Narrators, Enullers, Withergeists, and Luxsprites: Prismite, Nullite, Mordite, and Luxite (Basically no accessible Luxite exists). Of those, Mordite can notably kill anything if it strikes them in the core of their being, including Narrators. Besides that there are also the Plotblades, some of which allow normal characters to compete with Narrators. And of course there are other things. Some of the Dreamsmith's weapons might be capable of it, and I believe there was a race called the Inklings that could fight Narrators.

For characters... nope! Not really. I think most of my characters are engaged in the current plots. Thanks for the offer though.

As for the other thing, I don't have any experience, but perhaps you could ask Ryss if you could bring him back from the afterlife. He did manage to usurp his Author (@Ookla the Interdimensional).

Kion inclines his head. “It is truly nice to meet you, despite the somewhat harsh surroundings.”

Rebus sends back a letter, Narrating it to show up faster. I thank you for your help. As a Narrator yourself, I’m not sure how I can pay you for it, but I would be willing to do something for you. I’ll be on the lookout for Morditite and Withergeists, and may look into these Inklings further. The Dreamsmith, too, sounds interesting, but I’m unsure how well my personality would take to whatever test I’m given. My Author needs to actually let me do things before I’ll be consistent. And I thank you, as well, whoever wrote the end of this. This had sparked a few further questions: where does one actually get a Plotblade, and, other than the Witherlord, are there any malevolent entities around? As I said several times, actually, I thank you for your time, and if my current character arc, if you can even call it that, comes to fruition, I’ll avoid causing problems for you personally.

Omen remains silent once again. The field flashes with light as the Narrators and a few of the withergeists reconstitute themselves from the Emperor’s attack. Then they vanish, leaving the Emperor and XalBadreal alone on the field once again.

"May my faith protect me." The Emperor mutters in prayer. Xal'Badreal cocks his head slightly and his lower jaw splits in two and his top half opens wide and he laughs a shrill, blood curdling, shriek. (Think the Xenomorph from Alien). "Your Gods will not help you now. Your Damned soul is mine to take. You have been God forsaken and nobody can help you." Xal'Badreal hisses like a snake.

The Emperor grasps the shaft of his bastard sword. "The light of Mox be with me!" The Emperor yells to the skies. Xal'Badreal charges like a beast as the Emperor mutters more prayers. The dead of Xal'Badreal's army begin to rise from the ground as undead. But suddenly, the Emperor rises his sword once again to the heavens. "I ask to you, the Gods of Celestia! Bear me this rite to be the savior of the planes!" From the Heavens, the sky splits, revealing the once hidden, golden sun, shadowed slightly from silhouettes coming from the sky. The once dead armies of the Emperor descend from the Heavens with blades of light. Xal'Badreal almost pauses slightly in shock but continues to charge his armies forward.

The battle ensues as eventually The Emperor charges toward Xal'Badreal and the lock into battle with one another. Heavenly steel of the Emperor's Bastard Sword against bladed insect-like limbs of the demon lord. The Emperor gets a few hits in, cutting the beast's armor-like skin. Though Xal'Badreal also gets a few hits in as well. "DIIIIIIEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!" The Beast Screams. The battle around them is evenly matched and it is complete and utter chaos matched with order and justice.

The letter, to those who read it, is as follows.

To whom it may concern,

On behalf of myself and my Author, I would like to formally request the following pieces of lore, or information towards their discovery. I will compensate you in a manner you may propose, though I reserve the right to deny anything I find unreasonable or harmful to my wellbeing. Firstly, I would like to know any well established locations on the Thread, especially those important to the story. Secondly, I would like a general list of Narrator-level powers, the capabilities that such artifacts, processes, or beings possess, and their actual sources. Thirdly, I would like to learn of any characters or factions that have been neglected and wish to return, their views, capabilities, and how to contact them. Fourthly, I would like to hear any cool things you incidentally learned about, because it’s interesting.
I await responses with interest and thank you for your time,

“Again Vehicle”

Ps:

How do I fight my Author, or make him give me a better plot line and personality? He’s writing this, but we’ve got a Formless type thing going on, so he can’t stop me, as he is me. Anyway, I’m bored and he’s not paying enough attention to me. Or information on how to not get no-selled, that’d be good too.

Onyx wrote a return letter detailing the nature of Narrative Cores and how they enable Narrators to re-write reality.

Rebus, having effectively been re-granted an informed ability, sends a thankful letter anyway, careful to use mundane (or non-Narrative, at least) channels. He looks through the letter for applications or techniques he isn’t using yet, hoping that in doing so he’ll get some more information out of the description.

Subversion sent a return letter. Plotblade are normally found on quests, and there are other malevolent entities such as the denizens of the Maelstrom or some Narrators that are particularly nasty, but the Witherlord is, in my mind at least, the preeminent evil of the Thread. And don’t worry about compensation.
