"What questions do you have?" The tv spun on its stand to face Perseus, revealing the fuzzy outline of a man's head and shoulders. "I am the security system of this house. Answer, or I will evict you."

Subversion smiled. "I'll be at the trial, so I'll see you then. I might come to visit you before that, we'll see how things go."

Nogard smiled. "I'll look forward to that."

The music from the orchestra filtered over to where they stood. Nogard glanced over at the dancing figures.

Actually, both. We tried to sneak in at first- but we got caught and had to fight our way out.

The wiz- well it was a girl . . . so witch? Is that how you differentiate?

Anyway, the witch ended up dead and we escaped with my sister. It was kind of crazy.

"No one got hurt, I hope! Well, other than the witch." Nogard paused, thinking. "Who was it that went with you...? Beosta, right?"

13 minutes ago, Through The Living Glass said:

Stop that.

Beosta is saaaad...

“Life saving medicine,” Gaioh said. “Sorry. But yeah, we cultivate it.”

“Is that a yes?” Lady Bug demanded. She looked over her shoulder at Sasha, still dancing. “How does it sound, dedicating my profession to Bacon the Bard?”

"I must admit, I've always wondered what it would be like to be the subject of a dedication."

Asher paused looked at Bacon then said "uhm did you just, i, uhm, what?" Hey that gut just said what I thought out loud! yeah so maybe now you should shut up, please before you get us in trouble. oh please trouble is my middle name, I am going to burn this down! Silence idiot! We are not doing that. Don't listen to him. "can you read minds?" asher sounded very tiny bit concerned. That's the most emotion they've felt in a bit.

"On occasion. I have to keep up with all the goings-on, you see! Don't worry. I keep what I see to myself. Well, some of the time."

"Cool. What's it used to treat?"

"Well, it's the base potion for every cure in existence, actually. Depending on what's added, it can fix anything." His grin faltered. "Almost anything."

"Well, it can't heal you if you're not still... working. It can't fix death." He paused. "How... why did Beosta bring me back, anyway?"

"I'm . . . not entirely sure. I know she collected your soul from somewhere . . . then Bacon fabricated a body for you . . . There was this whole bit where Bat stole your soul, actually. That was interesting. But we got you back, and then . . . there you were! You'd have to ask someone else about everything before that. I wasn't there."

"As for why, you'd have to ask her."

Faunus has wandered around the party for a while, thinking over the things she had asked Subversion, when she decided to go find her new friend again. After a little while of searching, she found the woman, and moved up beside her, then paused, giving a glance to the man Subversion was conversing with. With another glance at her friend, Faunus smiled deeply, in such a knowing way, green eyes twinkling with utter delight.

"after a few months you learn to tune it out eventually. Im on mission to figure out what they are. When I was alive I didn't hear them, but after I died and came back to life, er half life thing, I started hearing them." this guy is hard to annoy, cant he just get annoyed already, ugghhhhuh sorry about him he's a bit... strange. "They are completely contrasting in personality and stuff."

Subversion's eyes drifted over to the dance floor as well. "I wonder how long the party will go for? We can't ignore the happenings of the Thr-the world forever."

She shrugged. "I don't really have a specific goal right now. I just want to explore and spend some time with Shoe- though that's been hard recently."

"Yeah, I bet. Maybe after the party, you can go do something. Clear your heads or whatever. I mean, it's great having you around, but things tend to work out so we'll probably be fine."

I think he wants to dance with you, Lady Bug mentioned to her.

Shoe smiled slightly. Well, I should go find Beosta. I'll leave you two to it.

It was good to see you again, Nogard. Goodbye for now!

He walked outside to go find Beosta.

Beosta had moved down to the edge of the lake. She'd never been close to a lake or river as a child--- the closest she'd come was her school on the island, but that had been different. Enveloping. The lake was just there, still and peaceful like a pool of glass.

Just now, NameIess said:

Are you going to dance? Lady Bug sounded bewildered. Do you not want to dance? It's quite fun!

Faunus gave a soft snort of amusement, and moved to walk away and leave them alone. She hummed happily to herself, trailing away from the dance floor, and toward refreshments.

Well of course I'm going to dance. I just have to figure out a way to rope Beosta and Shoe into dancing too, and also I'll let Nogard ask me first.

Beosta and Shoe? Oh, I suppose they might enjoy it. Though he seems occupied lately.

Please. They can't just not dance because Shoe's 'occupied'. How are they ever going to admit their love for each other if they don't do any typical romance things?

Lady Bug's mind was silent for a moment. Romance?
