Desolation is contained in the blade. We said Desolation cannot escape unless it is drawn. Can we shift this to say that Desolation can contact and try to tempt others to un sheath the blade?

Falvan struck the side of the blue barrier with his weapon of twisted metal. It glowed brighter, forming a dome. The portal collapsed. It began to get hot. Very hot inside. "Nogard, I believe they call you. It would be a shame for an innocent to die. I will offer your leave."

The Once-Author clenched his teeth. He didn't like this. Not at all.

A burning grew in his chest, a twisting pain.

Now you know how it feels... Ryss seemed to say.

“Decide now who will leave or you will all die.” Falvan said offhandedly.

She may or may not have blushed— whether in embarrassment or irritation, she wasn’t sure.

*siiiigh* sorry i'm too tired to write something more lengthy

He flew up to Tam's shoulder when he saw her.

"Oh, Shoe!" she said, surprised when she saw him. "You're back! Does this mean you've found an Ennuller?"

Beosta bobbed her head. She commandeered Tam’s other shoulder because she was tired of walking. Livetha would have followed, but there wasn’t room, so she pouted.

Nogard paled, glancing at Subversion, who seemed to have fallen unconscious again. If it came to a fight...

"Save her," he said.

"Hi again!" Tam said to the other pigeon excitedly. "Sentry said you'd arrived! I didn't believe him immediately since he's said that once before already-and it was an actual pigeon that time . . ." she added, mostly to herself.

"Anyway! I'm so happy to see you all again!" she pulled Shoe off her shoulder and hugged him tightly.

"So, where's the other Ennuller, huh? I can't wait to get out of here!"

Zanitar heard his name being mispronounced across the thread and made Hacob Narrate him there.

"Are you a fool!?" he cried upon hearing Ista call for Onyx. "Has your sense deserted you? Why in the name of Platypus would you call for him?"

“Because I want to talk to him. Why else?”

"Yes," said Bacon simply. "Quagmire? Can you break her curse?"

Which three people is he talking about?

"I will try"

He puts his hands on Tam's shoulders. As he attempted to break the curse, a ring of glyphs start appearing around them, hovering in the air. After a minute of silence, the glyphs start breaking, one by one. The process took 5 minutes to break all the glyphs. As soon as the last glyph broke, the air around Tam started to warp and crackle, but this disappeared after a second.

"It is done"

buh, guys it was past 10:00pm and I had a headache. oc I went to bed... wait, math says that y'all were up to 11pm. Glass, Haly, YOU NEED SLEEP!!!

The inspector shook his head urgently. "I don't think Onyx wishes to talk to anyone at this time."

Nogard would have responded to this (he was usually very good at welcoming new characters) but he was too distracted by whatever it was going on in front of him.

"Allow me to explain," said the inspector. "Many years ago, I decided to make a world of my own. It would be a place of sanctuary from the chaos of the multiverse, free from the meddling of..." he glanced at Erif. "...certain powerful entities. I invited several individuals to help me create it, and it was wonderful! We created new places, new people, new systems of magic... it was wonderful!" His eye-crystals brightened with the recollection. Then they dimmed.

"But it didn't stay that way forever. You see, the world was built upon Onyx's power- but shortly after its inception, Onyx began to grow... distant. More distant than usual, even. And then, one day, without warning, time simply... stopped working."

"Excellent!" exclaimed Bacon. "So what's the plan?"

The group stood on a stone platform in the middle of a desolate wasteland. For as far as the eye could see, everything was just... dead.

Welcome to Onyx's realm :P

A woman flickered into being. Her hair was long, and blew around her face as though in a wind. But there was no wind.

Welcome, traveler, she spoke. What brings you to this land?

"Should we leave?" mouthed Nogard.

“The… train?” he arches an eyebrow “I got on a train, everything went purple about an hour into the ride and when it stopped it was here.” he turns and points at seemingly nothing “See, it’s over there.”

Falvan snapped his head towards Arrnais. The barrier quivered violently but held.

“Stop that!” Falvan said. But his voice was slightly muted.

The barrier held. I am sorry, powerful one. I was not  made to be unmade. I Connot break for you.

Lol I went to sleep right after I posted

I SPENT LIKE 15 MINUTES TRYING TO GET HALY INTO BED

Tam gasped. "Thank you," she said to Quagmire. "I . . . thank you all," she said to the others.

Then she ran as quietly as she could for the entrance, still holding Shoe.

[Oh yeah,] said Bacon. [It's fleeing time.]

He flapped after Tam, keeping a sharp eye out for any surprises. This operation had gone smoothly so far. If he knew anything about basic narrative structure, he knew that was a bad sign.

"Well, if they wipe each other out, it might be good to rewind and give them a second chance. See if a different approach might work. It'd be sad to let all that storytelling potential go to waste, after all!"

I KNOW ONE SEC :P

Tam ran towards the entrance with Shoe in her arms, absolutely ecstatic.

"Oh, I can't believe this is actually happening!" she squealed quietly when the entrance came into view.

"Finally!"

Suddenly, she froze in place. Shoe squawked and flew out of her arms, but stilled midair and floated there, unable to move.

Ciara stepped out the the shadows.

Where are you going? she asked, a suspicious look on her face as she walked closer to the two.
