"So are you going to fly us out the window?" Nogard asked. "Where is the next location? Is it far? Also, was there anything in the mural about what the spear actually does? I have some theories, but I don't actually know anything about it except for the name! Which is, uh..."

He paused his tirade for a moment, adopting a look of intense concentration.

"Instakans!" Nogard declared as he plummeted. "The Spear of Instakans. That was the name. Hey, are we supposed to be flying?"

Shoe did nothing.

Right before they were about to hit the ground, a huge pit opened up, and they fell into it.

At the bottom, they gradually slowed and came to stand on a ruby-tiled floor, surrounded by darkness.

"Hmm," said Nogard, peering into the darkness. "Sure is dark. Anyone have a light?"
