Jeremy gave Abalador a look and shook his head, not bothering to respond.

"Don't ask me*," responded Jeremy, who at this point was not in the mood to be surprised. "Nobody's been telling me anything."

*Don't ask me either.

"Sorry." The Once-Author says. "Abalador?"

"quests, finding something, doing something with xiahadia, beat some spiders into the ground, a lot of boring planning"

The Once-Author pulls back. "Ew. Boring planning?!" He's disgusted. "This is TLT! Since when did we plan things? Since when was this BORING?!" He thinks for a minute. "So. What's our quest? And if we don't have one, I have a few ideas." He pulls out a long list.

Jeremy threw his hands up in the air. And now they were ignoring him. Of course.

"Can anybody tell me where I am?" he screamed into the endless void* above. "Please!"

*A dangerous pastime, or so I am told, but marvelously cathartic.

"You're in TLT. Simple." The Once-Author shrugs. "Not much else matters."

Johny starts to harvest his potatoes. It is a nice harvest, lots of big ones, and a nice dinner is ready and is warm and inviting. No meat however, the barn wasn't built yet and so no animals could be raised. Xyr finally showed up, and had hung up his cloak inside the main lodge. The frame had been set up and hopefully some more wood would show up tommarow.

Xiahida starts cutting down trees using a greatsword and chucking it through  a portal.

I'm just letting this progress don't worry about it too much

"TLT." Jeremy said the letters slowly, enunciating each one. "Is that an acronym for something?"

The Longest Thread

Uh, thanks. :P

Though it is the character that doesn't know that, not me.

The creature continued walking through the darkness, occasionally turning back to check that Sequence was still following. As they progressed, Sequence noticed that the light seemed to be centered around the clockwork creature, a ring of illumination perhaps five meters in diameter. Outside of the ring, Sequence thought she could see something. A figure so dark, that it stood out even against pitch blackness.

Sequence froze again, her shield reappearing in her hand as she pointed her spear at the figure. Horrible memories sparked by this place filled her mind. "Wh-who's.. who's there..?" She stammered.

abalador gets bonked on the head with a bunch of wood, gets angry, and jumps through the portal that dropped the wood on him.

"Hey johny! how did you get in my box? Want anything to drink? a nice snack perhaps?" Johny offers

Jeremy frowned. "Don't need to- why would I not need to know that? That seems like important information!"

“Because, learning that your life is completely controlled by someone else could lead to you being in an existential quandary!”

Jeremy blinked. "...what? Last I checked, I was in control of myself, thank you very much."

“Sure. Sure.” The Once Author said, wanting to maintain Jeremy’s sanity.

A stick rose from the ground. "So did Kilometers. He wasn't. Now he is. But he didn't used to be. You could be the same way." The stick fell back to the ground, an inanimate object once more.

Jeremy stared at the stick. He picked up the stick. He examined the stick. He even smelled the stick.*

"Did anyone else hear that?" he asked.

*Okay, okay. I might be lying about the smelling.

Platypus' Blade seemed to alter as he fought, nearly imperceptibly. He continued to fight. "You think I'm fighting the best I can? I'm fighting Nameless, there's nothing on the line for me. Subversion won't have beat me if I lose, you did. I simply fought, and I was empowered by Plot. I could do a similar thing here, but I don't need to yet."

Nameless looked at Platypus's blade with an expression of mild surprise. "What, you think I'll let you out of your agreement with Subversion? Not a chance. When I beat you, I'll take that Mordite blade and use it to kill Darkness. I can't afford to take the time to make another one."

Jeremy began to laugh*. "A minion? I guess you're a supervillain, then?"

*Okay. Maybe he was going a little insane.

"I used to be, I suppose." The shadowed figure looked around. "You don't happen to know if there's anything around here that could restore me to my former glory, do you?"

The figure did not move. The clockwork creature noticed that Sequence had stopped and scurried over to her, looking worried. As its center got closer to the figure, however, the circle of light's edge warped, refusing to illuminate the thing in the shadows.
