“Dumb time.” The Once Author said. So he sped it up, solely for Desolation. A dripping faucet may be small, but over time the water grows. The puddle began growing faster.

But a desolation puddle grew by the pooling narration, and sukced it back up

A golden strand flew around Desolation, flying at Platypus. At the same time, Desolation lunged with Foreshadowing, trying to score a hit on Platypus.

Platypus cut through the strand with his Mordite blade and knocked the blade away with Vengeance. Then he faded, and only a blurred shape remained as he started running and attacking, constantly slashing and stabbing. He left certain... traps behind him, nearly undetectable. Most of them wouldn't be detected, but he did leave some that would be detectable. They mainly involve Narrivitum blades.

Unrelated question: Is Mordite to Prismite what Antimatter is to Matter?

no, it is kind of close though. it is more of what boy is to girl, different things, and perceived as opposites, but they don't cancel each other out. Does that make sense?

Basically, there are four fundamental forces: Chaotic light, Chaotic darkness, Ordered light, and Ordered darkness. Prismite is chaotic light's metal, Mordite is chaotic darkness's metal, and ordered light and ordered darkness are represented by Luxite and Nullite respectively. Luxite is the closest thing to an anti-metal for Mordite, but almost all Luxite has been corrupted by the Witherlord and the withergeists. Similarly, Prismite and Nullite are sort of opposites, with Nullite being closely guarded by the Enullers, who used it to create the Wall that keeps Narrators and other similarly powerful entities contained within TLT.

"once author, what is going on?" abalodor asks. "can i take it up somehow?"

“We need to get rid of that narration somehow.” The Once Author said. He reached down. “I have an idea. We need to use this narration. All of it. Desolation is re-absorbing it, so we need to make it disappear. The best way to do that? Use it. Turn it into something else.”

"Hey! Are you messing with my Narration?"

Desolation blocked each blow perfectly, using Foreshadowing to guide him, and Nohr-maul to attack, he was in a perfect harmony. He then formed Golden strands woven into armor on himself, providing him with a bit of protection if platypus tried something

abalodor walks over, slaps whoever said that, and walks back. "yeah, so what do we change it to???"

Subversion walks over to Abalodor and punches him. "You can't just steal my trick and my narration!"

Said goo puddle just reforms, and stays still

A Narrationblade shoots up from the ground, destroying the golden threads around his chest. Platypus increases his attack, strength and speed increasing.

Sleeper pours energy into platypus

there is a dome in the way, and Platypus is pretty closed off anyway.

The energy rebounds, like there was something in the way, and goes back into Sleeper, knocking him backwards.

Also, the Platypus-Desolation fight is too high up to be seen by anyone except perhaps Falvan while he's flying. Speaking of which...

"Falvan, would you go fly up and keep an eye on Platypus fighting Desolation? I'd like to be able to know what's happening," Kilometers asks him.

Right now I have a plan for how to kill Desolation in a cool way once you give permission, it involves Falvan being in the air.

But Desolation was still faster. Golden threads lined the ground, entangled in the air, and acted like traps. Touching a single one could ruin your composure, cutting all of them would take to long. Desolation formed around them, not letting them hinder his speed, and then struck platypus with the Nohr-maul blade.

Falvan waited for an opportunity to jump in the battle, but he didn’t see a way to defeat him phosically besides nordiste. They needed a new method.

I seem to recall that Cognition told you how to kill inklings, correct? Abalador knows.

The Once-Author sighed, feeling useless. Dumb narration. Dumb time. He pulled out a sphere of nullite and began messing with it, because if he couldn’t be helpful he might as well be bored.

Subversion looked impressed. "Where'd you get that?"
