33 minutes ago, Thaidakar the Ghostblood said:

Thaidakar smiled, sitting down cross legged. "See there, was that so hard? Come, sit with me. We have much to discuss. And," the Narrator waved a finger, "I have a good story too... a story of wrongs and reasons which I am sure you will be interested in, yes?" Though his words were jovial, there was an edge of caution, an edge that defined his readiness for a fight if one arose.

"As I said, many people regard and regarded me as a horrible person," Thaidakar said, beginning his story. "I don't think I was or am. My actions are horrible at times, but inside I'm really just a fellow he likes a good story. And there isn't a good story without an antagonist, is there?" The Narrator sighed. "No, that is not reason enough... before you go thinking that I did it for the fact that all of you needed a villain, let me tell you otherwise. I am what I am because they have made me so. And..."

He stood, "It must not be revealed to the thread, for that would destroy what I have worked for." Thaidakar extended his hand, the words entering Platypus's mind. "Do you understand now?"

Platypus stayed standing. He listened without interrupting. When Thaidakar was done, he shook his head.

"Oh Thaid. How I wish you could see this. TLT is wrong. But... What you're suggesting won't fix it. What you're doing won't change the thread. Sure, it might for a time, but if there's one thing I learned from killing Plot, the thread always changes. It will change back to whatever it will be. I see what you're saying. I've felt it myself. It's a very real thing. And I hate it. But I can't stop it permanently, so I settle for helping others. Just spend time with me. Be with those that like you, and ignore the haters. So let this be."

He prepared for a fight.

He prepared for a fight.

"I am sorry, Platypus, but I cannot agree. Even if it changes nothing, I have to do it. And I didn't tell you my plan," Thaidakar said with a melancholic smile, standing up, "just why I am doing it. And thus our fight begins, my friend! May the best fighter win!"

He raised his hood once more. He shook his shoulders, twin blades forming in his hands as he readied himself. Feanor grinned, "En guard!" He strode forward, swishing his blades in front in a test strike, a finesse evident in the precise movements. The flesh of his hands beneath the cloak undulated against the blades' handles, tightening and un-tightening with eagerness for the fight resumed. Platypus was a great warrior. And, for the most part, it seemed Feanor would lose against him. But... Feanor knew who was the better swordsman over all. Himself, most likely. So, it was really just a game of chess. A game of strategy and timing. When to fight and when to flee. When to strike and when to parry. When to kill and when to have mercy.

Power sparked as Feanor's swords cracked like whips in the air as he began the real attack, after-images haunting the blades with purple and blue flames. With a grace granted by years of practice in an almost dance, his flurry of attacks came down on Platypus, parrying when needed, moving back at times and when his blades landed, they landed well. Recoil was not as much an issue for this master of the fine art of sword play, Narration and training helped with that. And, at times when he did feel it, he used it to launch another attack. Yes, the style of the Narrator was like a fine dance, a thin line between butchery and artistry. Much like TLT itself, in Feanor's eyes. Artistry at times and pure brutality at others. Feanor was the balance of those two things, the melody of the discordant tones of TLT, the embodiment of the ethereal, horrible harmony. Yes, Feanor represented what TLT was in several different ways. None of them the right ones.

So, as Feanor unleashed a flurry of attacks on his friend, he knew that there was no turning back. No, no real turning back. A part of him wondered, however, was this really the right thing he was doing? The logic assured him otherwise. It would all work out in the end. Real change would come. The world would be changed for the better. His blood forged legacy. Planting a garden and laying his enemies' and friends' fallen corpses upon it as fertilizer.

Would Platypus be one of those corpses? It was too soon to tell. And, as Feanor matched Platypus's most likely counter attacks and defenses, Feanor knew that this would be a moment to define the hundreds of pages. Ahh! A mere moment. Moments, what are they but a flicker in the mist, gone before you can register it is even there. They are branded upon minds and made more than what they were in the beginning. Memory enhances as much as it destroys. Feanor had learned that long ago.

These thoughts plagued the Narrator as he danced his dance of death, weaving a Plot that he didn't know he was, even while intending to begin a far different one.

"You win. And you get Falvan back. I get the sword."

"desolation, i pronounce you dead and buried" with that, desolation breaks into a bunch of little pieces

Those little pieces from into full sized desolations, each following the same commands.

“How in the world do I have the advantage Desolation? That is not right. Falvan grabbed the potion of resurrection. He grabbed also tried to grab development from Rirrom but did not succeed. “Rirrom” he whispered desperately— the dragon roared again and charged them. Interrupting Falvan who was forced to fly up.

"You always have the advantage, so long as you have the sword." All Desolations spoke all at once

Rirrom did not hesitate to destroy the dragon. The command was reversed, and the dragon's breath was given back to Falvan. Rirrom fell into a defensive stance and waited for Falvan's next move.

"If he kills you he keeps the sword. If you kill him I get the sword. If you try to kill me, which you won't, you will be killed."

Arranis awakens from his cocoon, and starts flying straight for Desolation, drawing his shard blade, and his plot blade, and slashed him across the chest, letting the ability to change flow through him, protecting him somewhat.

Desolation laughed. All of the copies laughed. "You fool!" Desolation grabs Foreshadowing from the broken cabinet of the plotblades. "I know your next move. I know who you are before we met. I know what you have done, and what you will do."

Arranis, somewhat worried about this, stills goes in trying to slash across Desolations many bodies, and tentacles among other things sprouting all around his body, grabbing punches, and stopping the other blade from hitting him.

Desolation put a stop to the little scampering of the Arranis. A massive wall of flowing black desolation goo enclosed Arranis on all sides, including the top. A mouth formed in the goo and spoke "a Fool's choice."

"I did not say that you feared them. Nor that they fear you. Most do not know you." Unintelligible shrugged. "Perhaps you are worthy of their fear. Perhaps they will fear you. But I do not fear you." He stared the desolation down, hands at his sides. "The worst you can do to me is kill me. And I do not fear death."

Arranis cocoons himself with the power of change, trusting in the plots ability to protect him with the power of change, and with his other sword, kept swiping through the mass of glue, trying to get to the sword that desolation had.

The goo weighs him down, burdening him. A figure steps out, more solid than flowy, holding the plotblade of Foreshadowing, and strikes at him.

and he has a really tight grip on Foreshadowing.

Falvan ran to another cabinet. Inside he grab 100 magical no weight daggers. He threw them into the air at once, and pushed them with a blast from his wings, whirling toward Rirrom. But amidst the daggers was a portable Sheild. The size of a coin. When touched it forms a sheild. It all whirled quickly at Rirrom. Then he tried to throw his sword into the mess, but it would not come out of his hand.

Arranis risks being swept away from the goo but holds his plotblade out to stop the other plotblade, and quickly uses a bit if change to make the sword change shape into a box surrounding the form of Desolation, and himself.

Is changing the sword allowed?

Rirrom, holding both plotblades, cuts through the daggers and launches at Falvan.

I would say no, since Rirrom couldn't affect any of them.

Desolation laughs again. The inky figure disappeared and reappeared, holding the plotblade, and struck at Arranis' side, but before he could see the reaction, he teleported to the other side to try to land a blow there as well.

Plotblades can be in different forms, and Change in particular seems like one that'd be able to change itself, for obvious reasons.

Arranis acts like he was pierced on the side of his body, allowing an easy opening for Desolation on the other side of his body, and as the sword is about to pierce him, tentacles erupt from the side of his body, suckers on the bottom, and grip the sword, trying to pull it away from Desolation, and changes, change into the shape of a dagger, trying to stab it into the side of Desolation

Desolation let's go of the sword, opting to grab change Plotblade while he tried to get his.

Oops.

Desolation recoiled a bit upon being smote by the plotblade.
