Platypus doesn't disappear with her. Then he poofs away, saying, "Fine, but only this once. And I reserve the right to protect    ." "My sister."

 

The ally, still waiting for the adventurer's answer starts to get impatient so she starts talking to Sequence.

"Oh, poor Everyone. Ony.... the god here doesn't need any more power to my belief."

The ally reaches the adventurer, barely breathing hard. "Ready to move on?"

Hmm, intriguing.  I would argue that if anything, it was a self-targeting Narration, but it is somewhat of a moot point.

It is not my authority to return them, the woman replied. For that, you must appeal to he who now claims ownership. Her eyes tracked inwards, towards the conspicuously absent castle. The most I can do is this.

As the void-eyed man lifted his blade, ready to smite the defenseless Sequence, he vanished.

Sequence sighed. "Drat." She said, flopping face first onto the ground.

There isn't a point to reading this, it's just me wanting the last word because I think I'm right. sorry. I don't like that I did this, it's snobby and selfish... but I did it anyway. This whole thing is unimportant and probably not worth reading.

I Narrated that I stabbed the hand holding the light, and picked it up, but it's unimportant. I guess it could be interpreted as me picking up something. My only other reason for this taking priority over yours is that I posted mine before yours, but all of this is unimportant

The woman tilted her head. I cannot tell if you are being sarcastic or not. Either way, be careful with corruption. There are beings that reside here that are attracted to such energy... beings you would do well to stay far away from.

The brave adventurer waves a hand dismissively to the ally. “We knew this place was going to be dangerous. If anything, it’s been less so than I expected. Although we have gotten very lucky.”

The woman bowed her head. I wish you luck in your petition. She turned, then hesitated. One last piece of advice. To all of you. To use the power of Narration in Onyx's lands is to render said power forfeit to the same. Be wise.

The barren trees rustled slightly at Sequence's screams.

The brave adventurer shushes Sequence, slightly rattled by the welcoming guard's departure. "You could come with us. I'm the best swordfighter in the entire thread, and my ally seems to have great powers of her own. Surely the three of us together can get the the ruler of this place's palace, sneak inside, petition to get your powers back, and steal the Plotblade."
