They found them eventually, but Butt was butting heads with a goat.

And Burg was almost dead.

"Save burg." Sobbed Butt as he butted heads. "An eastern carpet got to him."

Butt was fighting the goat to get revenge for it almost killing Burg.

So Ti pulled out his battle axe and chopped the carpet to pieces.

But they were outside, so there wasn't a carpet to chop up.

Or so they thought. Then the eastern carpet leapt from the shadows and started strangling AdoKho.

The western carpet appeared and saved them.

Meanwhile, Butt headbutted the goat off the cliff.

The eastern and western carpets then teamed up and tossed Butt off the cliff as well

Butt swore the second ideal of the Windrunners so he could protect Burg and lashed himself upwards.

He was Ti’s squire.

But it didn't matter because the carpets were too powerful.

Fortunately, Ti swore the Fourth ideal, and used his Plate to sunder the carpets.

Ishar became permanently sane because of all the ideals that were being sworn.

Burg then bonded a Inkspren and turned the remaining carpets into smoke.

Unfortunately, that caused a rip in the Space Time Continuum. For whatever reason.

It was because the carpets were agents of Eof, and them being destroyed had messed with Eof's plan. This lead to the rip in the space-time continuum.

This was, of course, all part of Eof’s plan.

The carpets were separated from the group, ending the continuom.

AdoKho used his flamethrower to burn the carpets to ashes.

When the flames subsided, the carpets were gone.
