You see, this dragon was quite a dangerously powerful plot device. Whenever people think of dragons, they think of "big strong monster". Because of this, the dragon will instantly gain quite a reputation. This gives dragons a great matchup against narrators. (Well, as much as you can have "great" matchups against narrators)

The carrots were, of course, for the stew.

The doorbell rang.

3 hours ago, Sequence said:

Sequence screamed, writhing in pain on the ground of the dark room. She desperately clawed at the spots where the nails appeared to be embedded. The pain... it was unlike anything she had ever felt before! When attempting to remove the nails proved ineffective, Sequence began to look for something sharp. Something to end the pain. Forever.

On the ground before her was nothing but ash.

She could hear the withergeist chortling at her suffering.

Sequence was curled in a ball on the ground, clawing with her fingernails at the nails in her arms. Blood began to soak her hands, and he tears and her blood mixed together to make a gruesome mixture. She wanted it to end, oh she'd never wanted anything more.

Moni blinked. When did I get into a house?

A dimensional door opened.

"Delivery," a monotone voice intoned.

Ash blinked into existence on the ground.

"Oh, hi Sequence," was all he managed to say before blinking out again.

"Oh, is that the pot? I can't believe I forgot to bring one."

Sequence heard this, but was unable to make any response. She was in too much pain.

Ene's face was torn between surprise and relief, and she took several steps forward to face him. (Anyone standing near them would suddenly have noticed her again, after a stretch of not knowing what she was doing.) "Excuse me? What's going on here?"

They walked away from other people a little bit so Ene could continue this later.

I misread this as plot, because of course I did.

It was a pot. Inside of the pot, however, was a jar of dust labeled 655 with a folded note on top of it.

Moni pulled the jar out curiously and opened it to look inside.

Thaidakar shrugged as he ate an omelette, completely ignoring the plot. Nameless was still in the room.

Nameless was staring at a danish that had somehow found its way into his hand.

There was a poof of steam and the pot exploded as the dust reconstituted into 655.

"Ah ah hot!" he exclaimed.
