A breadmunk scurried up Tharduess's leg.

He distractedly pulled it out, laughing.

"Oh, that's nice of you, but I think we've got it. Right, X?"

[NameIess]

"Nonsense, it's no problem. It's not like I have anything else to do. all my other friends left without me! They said they were going to go get a pizza and come back, but it's been three hours. Must be a really long line!"

[+Doomstick he/him]

Butt venture decreed that all people must wear a scarf on their left heel

[Condensation she/her]

"Well, I'm not exactly sure where she is. Can I tell you what she looks like and you can search the crowd while we search... outside, maybe?"

[NameIess]

All People didn't like being discriminated against.

"Oh no, that wouldn't work. I'm terrible at following directions." Thardeuss smiled happily.

"Okay, well, maybe she'll be over here! Should we go check?" Melody pointed toward the food table. She whispered in X's avatar's ear, "Hey, so what do you think? I feel bad trying to ditch him, but I'd like to hang out with you."

Light dawned in X's avatar's eyes.

"Don't worry," he whispered. "I can take us somewhere he won't be able to follow later."

[Condensation she/her]

"Okay! Can I help in any way?" Melody glanced over at Thardeuss.

[xinoehp512 he/him]

X's avatar shrugged. "We might want to hang out with him for a little bit," he said. "Just to be nice."

And so they hung out.

"So, Thardeuss, do you enjoy... apple juice?" asked Melody, for lack of anything to say.

No, different ostrich.

They were very happy to see someone.

Someone waved. "Hi, guys! Who's this?" he asked, looking at Thardeuss.

"New guy," said X's avatar. "Potential apple-juice lover."

[Condensation she/her]

"Good choice! Apple juice is delicious. I'm someone, what's your name?"

[NameIess]

"My names Thardeuss! I'm here with my friends, or, I was."

[Condensation she/her]

"Where are your friends now?"

I think I'm going to have someone rescue them and hit it off with Thardeuss.

[NameIess]

"They went to get pizza. I'm sure they'll be back soon." Thardeuss checked his watch. "Any minute now."

[Condensation she/her]

"Well, until then, do you want to hang out? We can talk about apple juice, or whatever you like!" Someone shoots a glance and a thumbs-up at Melody.

[NameIess]

"Oh, that would be great!"

Someone leads Thaddeus off toward the door, chatting about apple juice.

Melody waits a little, then lets out a breath, turning to X's avatar and Drama. "How've you been, Drama?"
