King wanted to be invested to, but wasn't. He put on a pair of lenses he found laying around and realized he was an oculator.

But he put the lenses on backwards.

And then poked himself in the spleen.

King activated the backwards lenses, but they were firebringers lenses, and both of his eyes were destroyed.

But there was no sign of the one who had made the voice. Melody, confused, picked up the ingredients and heroically went to go finish her quest. *insert baking montage here*

Vapid stuck her finger in the batter. "Where's the stuff to cook it in?"

Melody gasped. "You're right! Hmm, well we could roast it with our eyeballs!"

Melody thanked X for roasting the doughnut, which was now the largest doughnut in their pocket dimension that they had been blasted to. She took a bite out of the doughnut and decided it needed glaze, so she took some milk, confectioner's sugar, and vanilla extract out of her backpack, then mixed them together and poured them over the doughnut. She took another bite. "Delicious!"

The quest was declared an absolute success.

Nameless stole a piece of the donut and ate it.

And everyone ate the doughnut. "What do we do now?" Melody asked.

"Appreciate the memory, I suppose,"

"Or we could try to escape this pocket dimension!"

"We're trapped?" said X's avatar, puzzled.

Nameless cut a hole back to TLT proper.

"I kind of assumed we were, but I suppose I should check first."

Vapid stole the rest of the doughnut.

It gave her indigestion.
