Faceless Mist-Wraith he/him
I am personally looking forward to Mistborn, since I've always wanted to actually see Allomancy in action. Spoiler
Toaster Retribution he/him
I´ll vote Mistborn because it can actually be done as a movie. Stormlight is probably unfilmable, as a movie. However, if we had a tv-series, with a budget bigger than Game of Thrones, then I would defenitely give that my vote.
StrikerEZ he/him
I chose Steelheart because that book was made to be a movie. Also, Steelheart is not Cosmere.

Bean Delphiki he/him
If a cosmere movie is made I believe it would be best if it was Elantris or Mistborn. I believe that these two would translate best into a film. I don't think it would be possible to shove an enormous story like the Stormlight Archive into a movie, but you never know.

Man, but if they make a cosmere movie basically 99% will be green screen!
Bean Delphiki he/him
^ Yeah XD Even though Mistborn probably has the best chance to become a movie I think Elantris would be better. The big reason is that it'd be pretty difficult to film allomancy . Another big reason is that everything in Mistborn is black or grey, including the plants. Things like that wouldn't be too hard to fix but then it' be drifting more and more from the books!

btcannon
Stormlight would be incredible onscreen because of the diverse and creative locales/costuming/characters/flora and fauna, not to mention the fact that Brandon's narrative style in the series is quite cinematic. It would, however, prove extremely problematic to film in any format other than 1) a very lengthy movie series, or 2) a television series with an outstanding budget and production team. Mistborn would be hard because of how certain elements of allomancy are experienced visually or emotionally in the first person in a way that would be difficult to relay onscreen (I remember Brandon mentioning that if Mistborn were to be a movie, the nature of how some of allomancy works would have to be tweaked). For me, though, the biggest hurdle in filming Mistborn would be the violence and gore, which, if filmed faithfully to the books, would earn the film a hard R rating. Some things are much more palatable on the page than on the screen, and while I love Mistborn's tone, I can't picture the story as a film without either watering down a LOT of the key action or embracing a very dark, not-family-friendly tone, which I don't think Brandon really wants to do. Elantris would be a fantastic movie, in my opinion, but I could picture it flopping if it didn't get a great director with a passion for the world/story. If it were cranked out in classic Hollywood-style for a book-to-film adaptation, I could see it falling horribly flat (e.g. the Eragon movie). Elantris is a very different type of fantasy story, and I think it would take a special director to make it work. White Sand would seem to be an easy candidate for film adaptation, but maybe that's just because it's already being presented visually in the graphic novel format. The leap wouldn't be that much further to the silver screen. Warbreaker would be difficult, I think. Some elements (like the system of magic on Nalthis) just seem more plausible on paper than how I can imagine them being presented in a movie. Shadows for Silence and Sixth of the Dusk would both make outstanding short films or TV episodes. Of course, the fundamental and underlying problem remains: How do you do the Cosmere justice on screen without confusing everyone who isn't already super invested? Tough to balance out accessibility and faithfulness.

This was right after Alcatraz broke the fourth wall, but before he broke logic.

Toaster Retribution he/him
Way of Kings (and Stormlight in general) is far too long and complex for a movie. We need a tv-series with a HUGE budget to make it justice. It will be very hard for me to be optimistic about a Stormlight movie. Any other Cosmere book, yes, but SA should be television.

Botanica she/her
Perhaps I'm alone, but The Emperor's Soul is my top anticipation, since there are so many artistic and philosophical aspects to explore, which I really can't resist I'm also dying to see any forms of Stormlight adaptation, though it might be harder to be done right. Wax and Wayne as TV series would be awesome.
