Do you have a better one?

"May I spike you?" Tom asked inquisitively.

Quite good, although it could be more interesting.

A duel, eh?

"It's a santhid!" Tom said superficially.

"They fixed Elantris, and now I can do cool things!" Tom said adorably.

"You must unite them," Tom said honorably.

Shaggai and Snoopy, you have inspired me.

"Come eat this stew!" Tom shouted raucously.

"It's pretty lawless out here," Tom said roughly.

"I'd like to give you this stamp," Tom said shyly.

"My life to yours, my breath become yours," Tom said drably.

(I feel as if I've seen the last one somewhere, but I couldn't find it, so I'm keeping it.)

Nice. I encourage others to post more.

I was going to post a Stormlight Archive joke, but let's face it--Shattered Plains puns just aren't what they're cracked up to be.

Are you suggesting they've Broken One of your expectations?

"No! I won't teach you Forgery!" Tom said selfishly.

"I just can't figure out Soulcasting," Tom said stickily.

"Hey kid, want to buy some silver?" Tom said shadily.

Yes I am. Roshar puns are hard--I tried to make a good spren pun, but all of them just seem too Sylly to post.

Good! My only advice is to strive for complexity. For example, the first one could be "I've figured out a cool way to make lures using Forgery, but I won't tell you," said Tom selfishly.

Edit: I apologize if I sound like a bit of a jerk. I don't want to tell people what to do, but I like intricate puns. If you don't, that's fine and you should do whatever you want.

Well I started trying to make an Honor pun, but it got too complex and now it's just Splintered into a hundred Spren puns.

Yeah, that's the general Pattern my puns keep falling into.

Yeah, one-armed Herdazian jokes are better. But in Light of recent events, they may become obsolete.

I just don't even know. Here to the shards, I guess:

May you, with your Endowment, and in your Devotion, be a person of Honor in this Dominion, who shall not fall to Ruin, and instead be a person who shall survive through Preservation, having enough familiarity with Cultivation to not have feelings of Odium.
