So, we finally know how the "Random Stuff XI" will be titled.

Yes.

And in surprsing plot twist the next Random Stuff would get named "The Admin Jedi".

And now for something completely different: I need to comb through Creation Daily for my posts as I have not have them saved anywhere else. I don't even know how many pages there are. I don't remember when I first posted there.

Sounds fun. And I get to read all those ideas people had.

I need to go back through those for my old ideas and to steal others from people :ph34r:

I'm in. I haven't posted in Creation Daily, but it's always fun to read.

@Chaos@Glamdring804

It is around that time where I must start looking at colleges. My primary considerations are Colorado School of Mines, and University of Montana Bozeman. You both are currently at Montana. Aside from being easier to get in to, any thoughts of advantages of one over the other?

What's the major you are looking at? If you're looking for sciences and engineering then Montana State is far superior to University of Montana.

(Not that I'm biased or anything...)

I meant Montana State. I'm currently only discussing two places. Mines and Bozeman. I'm primarily considering electrical or mechanical engineering. If those fall through, accounting.

Ah good, I was gonna say, U of M is where slackers go ;)

I'm not sure how good Mines is, but I know Bozeman would be perfect for that.

Then absolutely come here. MSU has absolutely incredible science and engineering programs.

Plus, with three of us, there would be enough to start a club!

(Hey Eric. How's Calc 3 treating you?)

That's... actually probably true, haha! Then maybe Brandon would actually come here.

There's still one thing that needs to be considered though: how is Montana's skiing?

Heh. Heheheh. You even need to ask?

Let me put it this way. MSU is the closest college town to any ski resort in the nation. Our local ski area is literally 20 minutes away. If you plan your schedule right, you can be on the slopes in the morning and in class later that afternoon.

And just think, it would be a smaller signing, so we would get plenty of one-on-one time with him.

Or instead you could go to a convention, where you could then take the opportunity to play Magic: the Gathering with him.

What are the student discounts like? Acceptance rates? How's student housing? (Yes, I'm fully aware that I'm trying to make you and @Chaos into student ambassadors/admissions counselors) :P

Either of you know how often they go out of state?

@Glamdring804 who's your profile picture?

Nahiri the Lithomancer, a character from Magic: the Gathering with awesome, badass powers whose character arc was unfortunately butchered by Magic Creative's poor story-telling.

@Kaymyth; As fun as that sounds, it's not really relevant to me. I mainly am interested in MTG because of the lore, I don't actually play that much.

It's open enrollment, so they accept more students than actually end up enrolling. They have plenty of out of state students. As for housing, I can't really speak to that, as I live off campus. You will also have to pay out of state tuition, unless you establish residency in Montana.

But Rowling "values courage more than anything," so she put them all in the House that prized courage. Which is kind of a missed opportunity to show how courage can be exhibited alongside other primary values.

It also created a magical caste system, in which knowledge, spirit or privilege is not valued in and of itself but only if it serves The One True House.
