@Silverblade5 I've worked night shift at two different places for a combined approximately 1.5 years. There's some pros to it, but I never got used to the sleeping schedule. I got enough sleep to function but it always seemed less restful. Our bodies operate on circadian rhythms and the light, which comes from the sun, is a big part of that. I hope you can eventually work your way up to a better shift or those rhythms don't affect you as it did me. Best of luck!

And although I have yet to hang the wall art I brought with me, my apartment finally looks presentable and not like I'm still in the process of moving. Bruce is snuggled right up against me, so it's been a good day.

There's a very magical moment that tends to fly by unnoticed amid all the work: the moment at which a new place stops being a new place and actually becomes home. You probably haven't quite hit that point yet, but it sounds like you're a huge step closer to it. Hope it passes by soon. ^_^

Sometimes I think I'm a terrible person for finding the existential discomfort of others humorous... then I start laughing thinking about the existential discomfort of others!

The morality of the world of Skyrim is broken. I mean, yeah, I conjure daedra, but only to help me fight evil. Yeah, I specialize in destruction magic, but only to kill bandits and draugr. And yeah, sure, technically I killed that innocent guy, but he was wearing great armor and I look awesome in it.

But sure, yeah, take me to jail like I'm the bad guy.

It has a double "Fortify Reputation" enchantment on it, but only for kobolds. Besides which...

...you'd never survive the boss fight you'd need to acquire it.

Today's a weird day. We have a funeral, so my overall mood wasn't that good and then my boss offered me my old job. I left because my boss back then wasn't that great and even though I liked my new position, I always missed my old one, especially since my new boss is great. And now I can go back and work for her. I never expected to get that chance again. It's great, and yet I have a hard time to be really happy, because of the funeral...

Been reading up on the final 12 episodes of MST3K and boy are two of the licensee holders a pain to read about.

The ones in question are Wade Williams, copyright holder of Rocketship X-M, and Susan Hart, hoarder of It Conquered the World, I Was a Teenage Werewolf, The Amazing Colossal Man, Terror from the Year 5000 and, this ones nuts, Attack of the The Eye Creatures. She doesn't even legally own that last one, MGM does!

Pretty much these two have so many movies under their belts that they refuse to release on video, Hart famously wants $100k per film!, and they see no problem with what they do. Heck I read a 14 page forum post where WW actually posted in response to a few people trying to give him a very generous offer to restore 3 of the 3D films he owns and he blew them off despite there being no risk at all for him. Then when someone mentioned MST3K he started getting hostile and I could practically see him foaming at the mouth! A good comparison of how he acted would be if someone made a very funny commentary for Elantris and Brandon refusing to reissue it at all and demand every single copy, even electronic versions, be destroyed immediately. Oh and Hart sues anyone who uses fair use of any of the films she hoards, she even tried to sue Discovery for using a 40 second clip in a documentary about the director and lost obviously, and with how she acts about it I'm surprised she hasn't yet gone after Disney for using the trailers for The Amazing Colossal Man and The Eye Creatures at their Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant.

Meanwhile the other holders are much more understandable with Toho being very protective of Godzilla (the Japanese don't take kindly to jabs at their rubber suit monsters even if it's a jab at how the English dub was dumb), 3 are already on license from Paramount so they have to wait for that to expire and the last is a head scratcher. That last one is Quest for the Delta Knights and no one knows who owns it at all.

Thankfully, I had the day off. The guy who did my normal route got to learn how to install chains. On the side of the road. With 65+ mph winds.
