There is also a thread summary somewhere that may be of assistance.   You'd be welcome in Corvallis though   

Also Showtune is awesome.   Even if he starts in Salem he and Princess GOOD need to have an epic showdown at some point.   I'm curious how their powers would interact.

I am so sorry for being gone. I really have no excuse. I know Backtrack's not really the most high priority character for me to jump back in with, but, well... he's always been the easiest to get into the headspace for. Since, you know. We're both frail, kinda pathetic, skeevy little men.

I want to do a Lightwards post next--sparks, but I've missed writing that guy--but it'll be hard wrapping my head around what's going on in that battle after all this while. Someone might have to correct me when I post that and tell me if anything makes not a lick of sense or goes against something we planned way back when.

Hmmm... none with the same name, got a couple with powers that might fit?

Border: Can manipulate the strong nuclear force in a 2 dimensional area, causing anything which enters this area to be disassembled at a subatomic level.
Achieves this by drawing a line with some part of his body, a wall of faint green light is then projected upwards from this line, disintegrating anything that touches it. (Energy not completely conserved, decay produces only mild radiation, light, heat and mild lower wavelengths)

Whitespace: Can manipulate written text, cannot change individual letters but can freely move the letters around so long as they don't collide with any other letters. Given the spacing of most documents this usually limits him to increasing the spaces between words or lines. (Highly restricted telekinesis, non-mentalism)

Shatterswing: Can extend the range of force from blunt weapons, usually carries a metal mace which he can use to strike opponents up to a distance of 100m away. (Non-conserved, applied equally across area at strength of swing, opposing force acts on air, not Epic.)

Speaking of Backtrack, I was pleasantly surprised by my current book (City of Miracles) featuring a retrocog. Not cowardly enough for my tastes, though.

Either works. I'd imagine Adelmo's probably going to be doing his best to maintain control of the situation by acting and talking quickly to get them comfortable, but MV might have some interesting thoughts of her own on the prospect of going back to The Dalles.

Hello everyone! I'm joining up on this RPG and I'm excited to get started! Here are my characters that I am eager to introduce:

Epic Name: Shattered

Real Name: Derek Ian Gallagher

Backstory: Derek was born with DID(dissociative identity disorder). He was born in Eureka, California. His father was killed in an Epic attack, an Epic who was later identified as Ides Hatred. Derek's mother, Claire, takes him into Oregon to keep him safe. He grows up watching old tv shows from the 80's, such as The A-Team, Knight Rider, and MacGyver. He lived in content until one day, his mother went out to salvage, and was taken by Epics. Due to his disorder, Derek was unaware of his mother's disappearance. Two years passed. It was only when Calamity affected him that he realized his mother was gone. Enraged, Derek's eight personalities gained clarity of one another and vowed to find the "Mother". He has ambled across Oregon until reaching Corvallis, where most of his personalities believe she is being held by the Queens.

Personalities: 1. Derek Ian Gallagher  2. B.A. (From A-Team)  3. MacGyver  4. KITT (From Knight Rider)  5. Ferris Bueller  6. Luke Skywalker  7. Voltron  8. Black Ranger  Note: All his personalities are named after characters from old shows and movies.

Powers: Calamity affected Derek in such a way that some powers only show when he is a certain personality. But he has shown signs of super strength, night vision, enhanced agility, flight, heat vision, skills in hand-to-hand and fencing, enhanced senses, and regenerating cells. Looking at it this way, it does seem like he is overpowered, but I will show what powers augment in which personalities.

Personality: To be revealed.

Weakness: PM to @Comatose

Appearance: Derek dresses like his action hero, Indiana Jones, but also wears a navy blue scarf. He does not have a fedora, much to his annoyance. He has black hair, green eyes, and is about 5'9''.

 

Eugene Walker:

Name: Eugene "Silver" Walker

Age: 37

Home City: Twin Falls, Idaho. Currently traveling to Corvallis.

Appearance: He has raggedy brown hair and brown eyes. He is about 6'4''.

History: Eugene's family was killed by Epics. Angry, Eugene joins the Reckoners, but is expelled by Jon Phaedrus himself, who thought Eugene's methods were too brutal. He became a freelance assassin, working for anyone willing to pay the right amount. Right now, he has decided to wage a one-man war against the Queens of Corvallis.

Name: Arthur Mifune

Age: 53

Home City: Hyogo, Shikoku, Japan. Currently resides in the outskirts of The Dalles.

Appearance: Arthur has black hair and brown eyes. He wears old-fashioned bifocals. He is 5'7''.

History: Arthur Mifune was on the last boat to the U.S., evacuating the southern island of Shikoku after it was overrun by Epics. He isn't married and lives alone with his cat, Kurosawa. He works as a weapons dealer, but does it in secret. Arthur owns a decorator katana. He is known to switch allegiances at the slightest oppurtunity.

I actually was planning to do this, because at some point, Eugene will be introduced through Arthur.

Shattered will be his own story though. He'll be doing his own thing. (Also, he is inspired by Split, before anyone asks but he'll be much different)
