Jeesh this conversation is moving as Quick as the wind. Is there a Sliver of what we started out discussing left?

To other people, this kind of thing wouldn't matter much (woah keep matter in mind for a sec) but for me, whenever I see a fellow punner, it's a huge Event. I can literally see this continuing on the Horizon.

Refresh, I accidentally hit post before I finished.

anyway I had a reel weird dream last night. It was inspired by this RPG. There were Epics and I think I was in an airport store when I met @TwiLyghtSansSparkles and I kept trying to get her to manipulate matter but she got frustrated because it turns out she's not actually Funtimes IRL? There were also a bunch of kids or somefin stuck in this series of rooms and some characters from Homestuck (you need to read it if you haven't it's super good. Profanity warning tho), but they all ended up accidentally murdering each other. And I tend to change POV in my dreams quite often, so me and some other servants to Lightwards/Nighthound and crew (it sucked as much as it sounds) were trying to get Lightward's weakness. And nighthound's too. It was pretty weird, I don't remember exactly what it had been. For some reason Twilyght was the only one of us that was actually in this world, everyone else was just an epic. It was pretty Portland dominated so Majestic, you probably wouldn't get it. There was also these things about gemstones and hiding out from the chaos, but too many people were there? :)

Haha I wish my dreams were this awesome!

Yeah, I didn't dream at all last night (well I did obviously but I can't remember). Where's Soulcaster when you need him.

Sucks for you, dreams are AWESOME. Even when Nighthound is in them-- it gets better when you're planning to kill him. When I gaze into the void of sleep, I see awesome fun and also occasional murders but that's okay because... uh.

I mean, I do regularly dream and enjoy them most of the time, but I just couldn't remember them last night. Those rare people who can lucid dream every night are the ones I'm jealous of.

Anyways, back to where we were: So I love Brandon and as such I ordered a Steelheart shirt from a well know re-Taylor. It better be a Swift delivery!

I don't souly dream lucid. Actually last night wasn't lucid at all. Lucid means you know you're dreaming. I just went along with it, casting characters in a mess of a play.

I kinda guessed you weren't lucid, but my point stands.

Uhh, is Deathpoint still relevant?

Not really but I'll let it slide. In my mind, all alternate perspectives are valuable.

I'm on the Edge of losing here, might have to make a Runner.

(Am I the only one here who actually likes Reader and Arsenal but doesn't like Frostfire? Just an opinion so please nobody take offence!)

I haven't read through Dalles for a long time. I've just returned from about a year or so long hiatus. Dalles hasn't ever been my favorite tho, no offense. Portland is the best written in my opinion and I love writing for Corvallis. Pro'lly cause I'm a queen there! Whoop whoop! Chase best queen 10/10.) writing there makes me shout with Euphoria!

Why does everyone in this forum make me smile so much? (Perhaps it's the euphoria, as you pointed out.)

There's no Quota to how many of these puns we're allowed to do before blocking up the thread, is there? I hope not!

Nah! As long as nobody wants to interrupt with actual serious business, this chat can blossom for as long as we want it to.

Well, for the Time being, I'm using a Portable laptop to post, and so I don't have a movement limit really.

That's good, I'd hate for your battery to go into the red zone. (Red = my creepy stalker epic who's currently obsessed with Edge's creepy murderer stalker epic)

I've heard a lot of talk about Red but I haven't Read much about them, unfortunately.

Good thing is, I can watch YT, play Flash games and reply with bad puns all at the same time. The battery part is a good Point, too.

Hehehe. Are you excited to destroy Oregon?

Well, who isn't?

I mean, as long as Event Horizon gets to be awesome once again then I'm good :D

How long have you been here? I've been on a bit of a break. Also, just so you know, we don't really swear around here. :D

I normally just keep the tab open, to be honest.

And duly noted and edited.

Thanks! I meant on the shard in general, how long have you been here for. I've been here for a while... but not as much as Voidus, Edge, Twi, and crew. They've been big faces ever since before I got here a few years back.

Oh right. I've literally only been a member for about a month (I've been living under a rock for the whole 13 years of my existence on this planet).

And sure you're a big face too

Oh lol nah, I joined before Corvallis, Salem, and Astoria, but the Dalles was already established and Portland was at page 35 or so. Hehe.

Not sure how long ago that was but I'm assuming quite a bit.

Either way you could still be called an experienced RP'er.

PRACTICE PRACTICE

seriously when you read Portland you'll see it.

Well fair enough, but we'll see.

Anyways, throwaway Epic because why not:

Bankrupt:

Primary Power: Can summon a limitless amount of money, anytime, anywhere, but only if that money is outdated.

Secondary Power: Can convert modern money into older money.

Passive Power: Has a green aura around her. If anything is to pass that aura it's worth is translated into modern money that then ends up in a random person's bank account. The item does no disappear however.

Basically, he could be a nice person and repeatedly go near an expensive car, but he's rather selfish.

Probably going to be killed almost immediately.

Try talking to Voidus about throwaway epics. ;)

This is what I do in my free time, you see ^_^

It's pretty fun.

I've noticed :P

If you have a great imagination (which, unsurprisingly, most if not all people in this forum do) it can be rather easy.

Person 1: "Oh look, those curtains just swooped."

Person 2: "Leave this to me."

5 minutes later

Curtain:

Primary Power: Can shift the matter of curtains into a different kind of curtain.

Secondary Power: Can control every curtain he has touched.

Passive Power: All curtains close to him can not be manipulated in any way.

:P

But are they really throw away Epics? Or am I secretly just creating dossiers for all the superpowered Epics who will take place in the inevitable uprising of doom!?
Or do I just like creating Epics more than is sensible?
Who knows!?
...
Whoknows
Primary power: Information manipulation (Tier 3) able to restrict one piece of information from the awareness of everyone in a city-wide radius, preventing anyone from consciously being aware of that information or being able to divulge it.
Passive power: Memory manipulation (Tier 3) - able to absorb the semantic memories of those close by, this is a slow process but anyone who spends an extended period of time in his presence will gradually lose more and more of these memories. Vanillas who experience prolonged exposure have been known to have permanent memory impairment, either losing their memory completely or losing the ability to generate memories.

(Couldn't help myself)

This is beautiful. A treasure...

Treasure:

Primary: Is basically a living metal detector. She can detect all kinds of metal under the ground to a maximum of 300 feet deep.

Secondary: If she turns on her 'Metal Gaze' then everything goes black and white except nearby metal.

I don't know how this is helpful in any way, shape or form, but it's definitely fun.

After your 3000th or so you stop asking why and you learn to just enjoy the ride.
...
I'll leave that for someone else to try. :P

Name: Try

Primary: Can make it so whenever someone else tries hard to do something, they immediately lose motivation

I think this Epic works in the same building as me...

Thanks for the Opportunity (<-- someone make that an Epic please)

Joyride:

Primary Power: Can instantly summon the appropriate keys to any vehicle he can see.

Secondary Power: Can touch an object and turn it into a Ford Fiesta (sort of like BusDriver)

The Same Building

Primary Power: Can teleport, but only into the same building as the person they're thinking of.
Secondary Power: Photographic memory.

*narrows eyes*

NarrowEyes:

Primary Power: Lasers because why not. (Whenever they narrow their eyes super hot beams of destruction shoot out)

Secondary Power: Can make anybody they see suddenly seem suspicious to surrounding people (doesn't work on Epics)
