Yeah, what Aman said about Nobles/Dukes/etc. is what prompted me to decide not to waste my normal vote.

If the guys with super-votes should be doing it, so should I.

This is the current vote tally. I would like to see more single votes on players so that the Merchants have less of a chance of using their power on the same person. Also, between Straw and Elenion, I'd rather lynch Straw. I don't really have an evil read on either of them, but Elenion has more going for him right now, I think.

I'm not sure how effective this will be.  I understand that, statistically, it does increase the chances of them using their powers on different people, but there will probably be someone that that they will be drawn to because that person seems the most village-y.

I will have to agree with this.  Not because of anything they have 'going for them' right now;  I just don't have a read on either, and feel more like lynching Straw, for reasons of my own.

Well, I would recommend that they don't use something like that to decide what vote they cancel. I would say they should put every single vote into a random list generator and then mix them up repeatedly until the same person appears on the top of the list twice.

By having more "going for them" I mean Elenion's been a lot more active, so I have a bigger picture regarding him than I do Straw, and for the most part what Elenion has done is either non-alignment indicative or villagery. Granted there's a couple things I don't necessarily approve of, but I don't think he's evil for those reasons.

On the topic of Straw:

So far, I've only seen one of his posts that seem suspicious. It was where he offered information if a "certain player" got voted for. What I feel is noteworthy about this is that he doesn't appear to care if that vote was then immediately retracted, and doesn't bother telling us who he wants us to vote for (if I'm reading his posts right, it turned out to be Ecthelion). Now, I can't think of any reason an eliminator would want a vote (other than his) to be placed on a person and then immediately retracted unless he had some kind of information the thread at large isn't privy to. Of course, he could be a neutral role and this could be part of reaching his win con. If he were a villager, then why go this whole process to get potentially valuable information out there? Would you care to elaborate on your motivations here Straw? I don't think that the information turned out to be a dud is particularly relevant to what I'm saying here.

The rest of what he's said looks to me like posts that don't really say anything either way, so while I am somewhat suspicious of him, I'm not gonna jump on the bandwagon just yet.
