STINK he/him Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 Ada, you really think I would do that kind of plan? I'm simple, easy to predict What's the laziest option? Revealing a role without hinting at it with like 10 different people through 3 pages of each PM. So I role-revealed Also obligatory 'I'm never evil' comment

So I role-revealed Also obligatory 'I'm never evil' comment Did you happen to role reveal to Hael or Joe or anyone in communication with either of those two who were likely to give them that information? Even if you truly are a Thief-Taker and not a Darkfriend, it's possible you were Corrupted early to prevent you from eventually tattle-telling on anyone else Aonar might Corrupt. Either way, something about this doesn't feel right to me, and I'd really rather the village not walk into another trap at the cost of this game. If the Darkfriend is Corrupt then we are 8 (actually 7, due to Winter's inactivity) v 3 right now, about to be 7 (a6) v 3 since there's no way we can block the Darkfriend kill. If we lynch Rubiks tomorrow and it turns out he's not Corrupt, we will end up 5 (a4) v 3 the next day. At this point we will know for certain that Joe and Stink are evil, as Joe would have had to have been Corrupt longer to lay down that false lead, and Stink would have to be in on it to lie about when he was Corrupted. If we lynch Stink then and he's a Corrupt Thief-Taker instead of the last Darkfriend, we'll end up 4 (a3) v 2 the next day. Unless Joe has actually been the last Darkfriend this whole time and not actually a Ta'veren (I think we've only ever had proof of one Ta'veren manipulation at a time), lynching him would mean the Village would be at a 3 (a2) v 1 the next day (or 2 (a1) v 1 v 1 if the Darkfriend isn't even Corrupted). At that point the surviving players will likely argue for their lives until they're blue in the face. I really don't like those odds, so I hope this isn't what happens. I hope it's the simpler explanation; that Jaime has been Corrupt and just managed to trick Joe. I'm becoming increasingly unconvinced of this because of just how easy that make things, but there's still a good chance of it being true. What do other people think? Am I crazy for bringing this possibility up? Is there another route we should take, either than lynching Rubiks? Edited June 25, 2016 by Amanuensis
STINK he/him Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 What's the numbers for me being truthful and Joe actually being corrupted by Aonar so didn't care about obviously being corrupt because I have no reason to lie about it?

Then we win in three cycles, really, and honestly that'd kinda be boring. It would just be a matter of lynching Rubiks, Joe, and then Jaime, as there's no other way that Joe could have not redirected Aonar. @Mailliw73, I suspect that Bugsy will be the target for the Darkfriend kill, so I would recommend you protect him. STINK he/him Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 Boring win? Dunno about you, but I've been lost for like more than half this game and had no idea what was going on (inb4 in the dead doc 'STINK what are you doing') and it ain't boring. Sorry for not being a super mastermind Others could be though... (inb4 Ada is corrupted) (pls don't 'leave' again)

Metacognition he/him Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 Seems like this will be pretty easy to find out. We lynch Joe tomorrow since he's all but confirmed to be Corrupted and if it turns out that he wasn't, then we have definite proof Stink was lying. I don't think he is though. Joe's recent actions speak for themselves with him voting with Aonar on Maill the other day. And since he would have been the final corruption, that means that he was still good when he redirected Aonar onto Rubiks, so it's pretty clear that Rubiks is one as well. Jamie is a definite possibility, since I'm not seeing how their actions make sense in any other right. But, since we've got Rubiks and Joe to take out already, I'm content to take care of them and we can keep an eye on her in the meantime.
Gamma Fiend he/him Posted June 26, 2016 Author Posted June 26, 2016 Cycle over. Will try and get the day rolling tomorrow as soon as possible! Meanwhile, do some RP or something!

Jo and the Bush all/any Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Gamma obviously. That's the real reason there's not a new thread. 3

Jo and the Bush all/any Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Okay, yes, but that was in a game in which the GM was supposed to be lynched. Plenty of Gm's have been lynched, I shouldn't claim I was the only one. But I can claim to be the only GM to be lynched without the game ending because of it.

Fair enough I quite enjoyed that game, too. Hidden mechanics are fun. 1
Bugsy he/him Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 So, I'm guessing I might have been killed. I have a thought I would like to share regarding Joe's recent corruption, but not sure how allowed that is. Can I still post game relevant stuff now that the cycle has officially ended?

There's no way of knowing that you're dead so, I don't see the issue. Although no actions can be changed / put in at this point, I don't think discussing things would upset Gamma / the mods. Edited June 26, 2016 by Amanuensis I hate using the same word twice in close viscinity
Bugsy he/him Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Basically, if Joe was corrupted last cycle, then either Jamie or Maill had to be corrupt too to save Rubiks. If Joe was corrupted an earlier cycle, Stink must be corrupt for mis-scanning Aonar. In either scenario, Rubiks is likely corrupt as well. Basically, I propose we lynch Joe and Rubiks (2 constants) and then Jaimie (to let me use a kill again). I'll kill Maill or Stink, and if necessary we can lynch the other the following day.
