Sorry, I'm on mobile and never noticed that. I WANT MY ROLE

Actually, we made those. :P They don't exist on the site.

Yay! Got my game PM! Now I'll put a vote on PK, for no reason. :P

I'm thinking I'm gonna force a lynch each Day Turn. So if anyone has 1 vote at the end of the Day and we haven't decided who to lynch, I'm going to lynch them, no matter what.

Just as a note of clarification - worldhopping may only be done during the Night cycle of a turn. This has been added to the Clarification list.

All role PMs and world PMs have been sent out. Please contact me if you did not receive one.

Also, before we start the game, can I ask people to not convert me? As much fun as I'm having as an outed eliminator in the other game, I'd like to stay on the village team this time.

I went to upvote this and accidentally downvoted it, can someone counteract that please

I'll also place a vote on red%20smiley_zpsfzboekz8.png

Just kidding, Mark. We just had to do it. :P

It's alright. Quite funny, I must say.

Why'd you plan on doing that?  It seems kind of antithetical if there hasn't been much discussion.

Voting is good. Everyone should vote. If you do not vote, you allow others to be the masters of your fate. And, too, the fate of the very Cosmere.

It's a new day and Parth (who is in Elondel) has just made a huge deal with one of the larger houses. "I'm bound to become on of the Great Houses in a couple of years!" Someone has to start the RPing.

Someone has to start the RPing.

See my post the other day :P

Anyway, to continue my RP...

The thing hadn't gone away in months.  It was almost always there, and almost always doing something irritating.  It seemed to be studying him for some reason, though he had no idea why.  Conversation with the thing was difficult, it struggled to use the language properly and had its own peculiar mannerisms that infiltrated its talking fully.  Annoying.  Right now it was talking to itself under its breath, so he couldn't hear it, though it looked to be examining the make up and design of the bag one of his companions was wearing.  The bag was made for long distance treks and journeys, which this would be (if not the longest anyone had ever done), especially once they hit the mountainous regions in Jah Keved.  For now, however, they were still in Alethkar, moving slowly but surely towards the border.  Kelen had done his research beforehand, and this was supposed to be one of the parts of the border that wasn't embroiled in constant fighting or warfare.  One would think the two Vorin nations would get along better and have less skirmishes, though it seemed that the fighting wouldn't end any time soon.  Once they crossed into Jah Keved, the trip would become a lot more dangerous.  They would be foreigners, and foreigners never seemed to be treated nicely, no matter where one was.  This was in addition to the Highstorm that Kelen had forecast to occur just after they crossed the border.  They would have to find a small lait and hole up there while the storm passed.  It would set them back a few hours, and Kelen didn't like that, but it couldn't be avoided.

"Kelen?" The thing said, the pitch shifting wildly even throughout the single word. Kelen ignored the thing. "Kelen!" it repeated, the volume shifting upwards until it was close to shouting.  Kelen continued to ignore it. "KELEN!" it yelled, coming up close to him.

"What?!" Kelen replied, thoroughly irritated.

"You have why so many.. dead things you with?"

"What do you mean by that?"

"Animal that there, it has lots of dead things it on."

"Oh, the pack animal.  That's food."

"Food?"

"We consume it.  We need it to stay alive.  Haven't you been paying attention?"

"I paid attention, yes."

"You would have worked that out by now."

"Oh."

The thing moved off again, silent now.  It seemed... embarrassed?  Kelen didn't really know how to put a name on it.  He disregarded the thing and left it to its moping.  He could deal with it later.  For now, he had to worry about the border crossing, less than a whole day from now.

Left of Space wasn't sure where he was. Of course, being on unsure footing was natural for him. He been born and raised at the top of a chasm (the LEFT side of it ;) ), which required caution at all times, and then of course being a trapper on the Father himself made all the vigilance he'd exercised as a youth look like, well, child's play. Patji had no sufferance of fools. and little enough sufferance of those who weren't fools.

That being said, it was imperative to learn about these strange surroundings if he had any hope of surviving in them. It would help if he knew how he had gotten there. One moment he had been washing in that odd pool on Patji, and then... here. Wherever here was. He wished his aviar, Smeagolri, had been taken with him, if nothing else than for a familiar face, but oh well...

My first attempt at RP! Yay!

A woman with coppery skin and part of her hair in a pair of braids played a few notes on her flute. She considered a moment, then played a few more. "Hmm," she said, lost in thought. "What to play..."

Suddenly, she snapped her head up, scanning the crowd. "You!" she said, pointing at a figure sitting in the shadows. "Your name is Unnamed Character 6," she said, lowering the flute she held in her gloved hand. "That name is uninspired. Unacceptable!" She slammed her hand down on the table to accentuate her declaration. "You will change it to something more respectable," she continued, her face turning upward in a broad grin. "Or die!"

With a flick of her wrist, she threw a dagger that had been hidden in the sleeve of her ungloved hand into the air, then caught it. She continued juggling the dagger with one hand as she raised the flute to her lips with her other hand and began to play a haunting melody.

If Jonli spells my name wrong, does it still count as a vote? And I promise joe, if i do have the ability to convert anyone, I will not use it against you. for now anyway. :)

Well I'm going to put a vote on Mark IV for reasons I can't discuss openly right now. Some players in this game should be able to figure out why I am voting for him. I might change my vote depending on what happens throughout the duration of this turn but for now I've got no other leads to pursue. Also I personally see no harm in people announcing what planet their on and with who, and it would greatly help me with my notes, but I'm still waiting on confirmation from one other person on my world to see if it's okay that I say where they are.

It depends on the GM, but usually it's generally not cared about, as long as it's obvious who's being voted on. So, yes, i'd say that both of our votes will count, but Seonid might say otherwise. (Though honestly, insisting on correct spelling is a rabbithole. Can people pretend to vote, but spell the name wrong and not have their vote counted?)

And don't make promises you won't keep. Now then. leftinspace

Fair enough Jonli. I was only kidding about the objection over the misspelling. I just wanted to point it out. :)

Violet eyes surveyed the sky, a curiosity lurking just below the boredom. His pet lumbered up the hill behind him, chests weighed upon it's back.

The dark-haired man sighed at last. "Barely a breeze," he pronounced at last. "If there were any wind spren, they wouldn't be riding on that." A shame; the man was quite curious what a spren would look like away from home.

The chull came to rest beside him. It was an odd creature, so far from home. It didn't seem to like the colourful flowers, anymore than Valan Quivar, Highprince of Jah Keved, liked the heat. It reminded him of the Reishi Isles, but without the libertine spirits that had made them so appealing.

Regardless, he reached into the basket tied to the beasts back, and pulled out a bottle. He uncorked it, paused a second to pour some of the orange spirits onto the ground. At least this world got one thing right, he thought. Most of the cosmere was so dry, so dreary and dull and boring. These colours - from what he had seen, this entire region- was every bit as colorful as proper, Rosharan wine.

Respects paid, the wandering prince pressed the bottle to his lips, and took a swig until it was drained, right down to the very - last - drop. He couldn't quite ignore the chull's expression - was that curiosity in it's dull eyes? Unlikely; chull had never struck him as a particularly intelligent species.

Still, it was dutiful, quiet and didn't complain. Those were traits that were valuable regardless of age, gender or species, and one's the man particularly admired.

"Nalthis," he said again. "That was where the old Endowment came from. I heard she ran away. I heard she was some would-be assassin with a bow and arrow."

The chull clicked with, the man assumed, agreement.

"Yes, I'm also sure she was quite pretty. And now her bones are lying to rot somewhere in the Cosmere. Why don't we see if we can do better?"

((Quick post to establish a character at least... no voting though, sicne... I got nothing to go off of)

@Seonid: Do you want original votes to be edited green in order for new ones to count? If so, then here's the current vote tally. If not then the subsequent tally will be the accurate one.

No reason, eh? Let's see if I can find some plausible reasons you would have voted for me, so I can respond to your accusations.

  1. Voting on people first cycle is a good idea
  2. I called you out on the Terris peaks
  3. I went inactive during one game, and you want revenge (not sure if you were in that game, though...)
  4. You're jealous of my profile picture
  5. I have one of the worst RP names ever

Now that I have some reasons, I can respond by changing my name to Brian. Your four other points are all valid, though.

Also, I'm voting on Kynedath, because he hasn't spoken yet, and I'm suspicious of mute people.

I require any votes you want to withdraw to be greened out. I would rather you not edit the original post, but rather place a green vote in a new post.

Kynedath said when he signed up that he was busy and wouldn't be active for the beginning of the game.

Also, no ones vote is truly for no reason. Rather he just has no evidence on you right now, so in context of this game it is for no reason :)

Thanks, I hadn't noticed that. Taking my vote off of Kynedath and putting it on Araris
