Brandon just updated his awesome-o-meter to 90% on progress for Oathbringer and I'm not sure whether I should start a topic just to share the joy with everyone so instead I'm posting here.

Also, FAQ got updated.

Wait, when did he update from 80% to 87%? 11th? This makes... 10% 3% in five four days?!

EDIT: My math was bad and I should feel bad (but I don't 'cause Oathbringer update). Only excuse is I'm pullin another allnighter.

He said he's gonna try finish it for Nanowrimo :D

Random announcement: we need to make the word "cremmy" a thing. It just makes sense: it sounds a lot like "crummy" and correlates to the Shard's replacing of the S-word with "crem."

Aw, damnation. I intented this to be my first post after reaching 2,500 posts. It's second instead. But it's the day it counts.

Anyway, today it's a year since I joined the Shard. In those 366 days I've written 2,500 posts and gathered 1,294 reputation points (which make me Radiant Squire).
I've also grown to love this place and I've learned gargantuic amounts of information about Cosmere. I've started my own - mostly dead now - group (Knights Theoretic), produced many theories, started a few heated discussions, provided countless WoBs,  asked many questions and gone through my books too many times searching for obscure tidbits of info.

This has been a very good year. I hope there are many more to come and that every one is at least as good as this was. Bless you all :)

We're four episodes into Over the Garden Wall and my family has unanimously declared that Wirt is me in cartoon form.

I have mixed feelings about this. Mostly because his hat is actually really freaking cool.

OVER THE GARDEN WALL

ARGLEBARGLE

Sorry. I. Um. I have feelings about that show. Feelings like "It's so wonderful that I wish I could erase my memory so I could watch it again and experience it again for the first time."

I'm so tired. Writing college essays and doing schoolwork and trying to sleep do not balance out. Maybe I should just give up on my future. Then I could sleep.

I was going to say "two hours of pure magic and dark whimsy," but that works too.

Right now I'm kind of picturing LotR x Rick and Morty Labyrinth. Accurate?

I'm not familiar with the last two, but if it helps, here's the intro:

Hold up.

You've never seen Labyrinth?

bleeder, I didn't read Philosopher's Stone until I was seventeen and I saw Buffy as Satanic Evil Magic Show #486 for most of my teen years. Of course I haven't seen Labyrinth.

Hmm... how to explain...

Labyrinth is the best eighties-movie-musical-twisted-fantasy-probably-drug-fueled-fever-dream-cult-classic film you've ever seen, featuring a young and ever-sensuous David Bowie wearing lots of makeup.

Spoiler

One of my favorite movies of all time.

Not really. Imagine if Studio Ghibli made a film set in Colonial America. Its nothing like that, but it is the closest thing I can think of.

Everytime I see "AU Spoiler" on threads, I think they are talking about Cosmere Alternate Universes.
