I didn't think it was that niche but I was wondering how universal it was.

It's pretty similar to how people in my family's denomination say goodbye. Especially when it's late, just before lunch, or after a church service. Most Sundays, church would finish up around 12:30 or so, but we wouldn't get out of there until 1:00 or later. This departure time was doubled (at least) on holidays when we had family and friends to our house or vice versa.

So, I don't know if it's universal, but it's common to at least a few circles.

Watching Jem and the Holograms for the first time.

I mean, I read some of the comics, so I figured I should watch the show and sweet Celestia.

This show is insane.

I've been trying to find this one song I heard once for months and I couldn't remember enough of the lyrics to look it up and it was driving me crazy but recently I remembered this band @The Honor Spren recommended and how I'd liked what songs I'd heard by them and lo and behold the song was by them.

Bless you, Honor.

Bless you.

This doesn't sound very exciting but finding a song you can barely remember is the equivalent of digging up a treasure chest made of solid gold filled with chocolate bars and distilled happiness.

I heard about that. I didn't feel anything. It might be because I got home at midnight, though. There was another football game last night. (We won. Also, Reginald the spoon has become band famous. I'm so proud. :D)

Edit: I found a video on how to read sheet music. It's hilarious. :D

Welcome to one of the defining pieces of my childhood!

(Explains a lot about me, doesn't it?)

On a scale from 1 to Night Vale to Jojo, how insane is it?

The first half of the first episode featured blimps with the main characters name, a funeral, and punk rockers driving into a business meeting at an office on motorcycles.

Episode. One. Heck, practically from frame one! At least Night Vale was a little normal at the start, to make the weirdness stranger. Jem started at full throttle and just keeps going.

...though speaking of Night Vale, I want this so much.

What does it say about me that I don't even consider this weirdness overkill?

I had forgotten that there was an artist named Man Ray, and when I saw your opened tabs I thought you were looking up information and pictures of this guy:

Not gonna lie, Man Ray was one of the best characters on that show, in my opinion.

He's a villainous Manta Ray who dons a blue speedo, wears a helmet even though he has no head, and is very ticklish. What's not to love?

The fact that he didn't get nearly as much screen time as he deserved, that's what's not to love.

In other news, here is a list of some foods I haven't eaten since I moved out:

Pasta with alfredo sauce
Pineapple salsa
Meatloaf
Macaroni and cheese
Cornflake chicken
Berry crisps
White-sauce enchiladas

Regrets I feel: 0, especially about the alfredo sauce.
