I have long been on the fence, unable to decide who would make the worst president out of Hillary or Trump, but what Trump said about refusing to concede the presidency tonight clinches it, I think: he is the worst-case scenario. Despite my highly unfavorable opinion of Hillary, I think I would rather have her in the White House than him.

Problem: I can't draw and I don't have Photoshop.

You don't need Photoshop to edit photos. GIMP is a powerful, free photo editing software. For any amateur user it's as good as Photoshop IMO.

Same here. I'd made up my mind a while before now, but this made me comfortable with my decisions. And scared of my family. My brother is STILL voting for Trump. He knows his history, he knows what Trump said, he's seen the election....and he said that he thinks Hillary would be more likely to not abide by the results of an election than the man who said he wouldn't on a national stage.

Then again, Trump's such an obvious fool that he might get himself impeached fairly soon after taking office. Hillary on the other hand is far more politically savvy, so if she's doing something underhanded you can bet she'll be more likely to get away with it or talk her way out of getting punished.

True, but I'd trust Clinton with nukes. I wouldn't trust Trump with a butterknife.

On a cheerier and less political note, one of my favorite online artists has graced us with another piece from the Potterverse.

Of course you'd watch eight movies featuring Uncomfortably Attractive Voldemort. Don't lie to yourself. :P

Before I go into my presidential debate rant, I would like to add that I would love it if you could put your story on Wattpad. :)

So for any of you not watching this horror show, Trump just basically said that he probably will not accept the outcome of this race if he loses. I cannot express how much this appalls me. All of America's transitions from president to president have been peaceful so far. I've been studying American history this year, and the fact that the first few transitions went smoothly is a miracle. After that they became routine, but that Trump is willing to upset that if he doesn't win is disgusting. For some reason, this disturbs me even more than when the video of him pretty much admitting to sexual assault came out. (And I was pretty shocked then.) You'd think I wouldn't be surprised any more when he says something despicable, but this . . . this is just awful.

I listened to it on radio. I have no words for his idiocy. It honestly upsets me.

One  last thing about the election: there are other candidates, you don't have to vote for Trump or Hillary if you don't want to. Right now they're just the most likely ones to win but they're not the only ones you can vote for. Just saying.

Wouldn't let me edit again :/ What's up with that?

EDIT- @TwiLyghtSansSparkles Shall I call it "A Kind of Magic"?

A Kind of Magic.jpgJust something I whipped up. Or do you want something like Draco standing in front of the full moon?

It's good, but I don't think it matches the story's overall tone.

You can, and there are two third party candidates this year, but as Nader demonstrated in 2000, a vote for a third party in the US usually winds up being a vote for the opposite party. Twimom would cheerily proclaim that "a vote for Nader is a vote for Bush," and from all evidence she was right.

how would u describe the tone.

No offense, but when you left me a review on DeviantArt praising the fic, I assumed you'd read at least part of it and could describe the tone based on that. :/

Well, I now have a Wattpad account. I'll have something up once I get all of the intricacies worked out. For a cover, I was considering Draco, silhouetted with a half-moon, being followed by the silhouette of a Sasquatch through pine trees. Thoughts? Is that doable, graphic designers?

Which would be great, if I actually liked either of the third party candidates.  But Jill Stein (despite the Green party being the one that most aligns with my ideological views) is a dingbat who has absolutely no idea how the economy works.  And Gary Johnson...eek.  Beyond his gaffes that show he has no clue what's going on outside our national borders, he acts on camera like he's constantly drunk, stoned, or both.  Generally speaking, if you're running for office, I expect you to be capable of sobriety when you're doing your job.

I find that his view on climate change to be rather... interesting.

Seriously, if Trump wasn't hogging the spotlight for insane moments, we'd see more of Johnson on the news just because what he does.

May I ask why these are the only candidates to choose from?:(

Because life is a book written by an author with a very sick sense of humor and a burning hatred for all their characters.

Life, is in fact, a sitcom. There is a laughing track hard coded into the laws of physics.
