The Sovereign Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 *glares jealously at Utah sharders* Couldn't resist...
Oversleep Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 I posted the corrected Diagram code on the Polish fansite 10 days ago (cause official version is stormed up). Today a person commented that she cracked it. She may be the very first person in the entire country to do it. I feel strangely proud.
Ookla the Absent Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Per Wikipedia Space Travel Because the red panda is not much larger than a house cat, and therefore definitely smaller than the average house dog, it would seem to be ideally suited for space travel following the experiments performed by the early Russian space program. Their reliance on bamboo as their primary foodsource is well suited to long distance voyaging, as it is easy to store for lengthy periods without deterioration.[38] Despite this, widespread adoption of these animals as astronauts has not been reported. 6
Kaymyth she/her Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 (edited) *glares jealously at Utah sharders* You'll be very displeased with me. All I had to do was hop on the MARTA rail car to journey from the airport to the JordanCon hotel and randomly run into two Sharders. Much later ETA: My friends (and luggage) are here! I can finally go sleep. Edited April 22, 2016 by Kaymyth 1

Delightful Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Here's an interesting article about how while some corners of the Internet are awful, some like the Shard are amazing. 3

A few of us Sharders who live in the Orem/Provo area get together once a month on BYU campus (specifically, in the JFSB) to eat pizza, drink root beer, and talk about basically whatever. Young Bard he/him Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Ah, what the hell, I'll join the crowd. *glares jealously at Utah Sharders* And, while I'm at it: *glares jealously at American Sharders* Ah, what the hell: *glares jealously at all Sharders ever, because why the sparks not?* 2
Kaymyth she/her Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Which ones? Segren and PallonianFire And how did you know? Well, they were sitting right across from me and I heard them talking about Theoryland. So I'm all, "Hey, I sense fellow JordanCon-goers!" And then I mentioned the Shard and Segren recognized me. Oh, I also ran into Peter waiting for the elevator this morning and wound up having breakfast with him. (Yes, I know you all hate me now.) 9
Orlion Blight he/him Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Is it true that Peter is a pumpkin eater?
The Sovereign Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Is it true that Peter is a pumpkin eater? I've heard he is actually a pumpkin. Cannibal Pumpkin!? 8
Zathoth Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Cannibal Pumpkin!? It was one or the other, possibly both. So yes, cannibal pumpkin. 1
Orlion Blight he/him Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 It's official. Kaymyth has to ask Brandon why he "hired a cannibal pumpkin" at a public Q & A. And Brandon has to respond: "RAFO" 6
RippleGylf she/her Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 They're announcing the new Doctor Who companion tomorrow. O.O 1
Zathoth Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Please be less annoying and more interesting than Clara... also wouldnt mind if she was cute...
Left he/him Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 I'm really not sure where to put this, especially since it seems like it'd be kinda silly to create a whole thread for it. So my birthday is in like six weeks. I'll be seventeen. I'm going to be leaving the country like the day after, and when I come back, I'll be moving directly to Provo Utah instead of back here to Ohio. So I wanna have a big party, see most of my friends for the last time, have one last hurrah before I become a Wizarding World Adult The thing is, I haven't done a birthday party since I was like eight. I didn't have friends I wanted to invite to a party after that really, and last year I went on s date instead of doing a party. So I'm trying to come up with ideas, but I'm stumped. What're some fun things to do? I'm trying to avoid it being just a themed board game night or anything, but don't want to break the bank either...
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 I went grocery shopping like a boss. I cleaned my apartment. I gave Bruce a bath and took him for not one, but two walks. I made chocolate Rice Krispies treats. I am waiting until it is socially acceptable to order a pizza. And now I am bored.

TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 It is always socially acceptable to order pizza True, but I was ordering it for dinner. Old habits, I guess. Though I really should've ordered it earlier, in hindsight. Stupid website didn't tell me when it would be delivered, so I only found out after I'd ordered that it'd be 40-50 minutes.

Arraenae Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Mestiv, your signature is very, very creepy. The location thing is a nice touch. Your signature can't record the information it's reflecting at me, right? >.>
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 And, because I usually cook dinner instead of ordering out, Bruce seems to think I forgot. Although, I just took a a look at the employee performance evaluation sheet my supervisor is going to use, and my budget. I think I'm going to do okay at both.
