I'll jump on the bandwagon here - what do y'all imagine my voice as?

For a lot of you, it depends on the subject matter. For example, take Kobold:

 

Worldbuilding!Kobold/Creation Daily!Kobold sounds like an enthusiastic professor.

Joking!Kobold sounds quite deadpan, and a little deeper for some reason.

RP-ing!Kobold sounds like a really excited storyteller.

 

That's not to say they're three different voices, more... 3 different inflections to the same voice.

Random fun fact:

I like making pancakes. 

Except I'm really bad at it. I burn them (and the butter) 60% of the time and they are always rather strange looking and tough. I keep making them though cause i want to master them. And sometimes they taste okay.

Was just making another batch (i do them like crepes btw) and they weren't going that well. Hael takes over briefly while i eat some. I turn back and he had just made some storming perfect pancakes. He never makes them yet is already better at them than me :/  Why. Why is my big brother, who never cooks, better at making pancakes then me. I don't understand.

Hael, you are making/ heavily supervising the next batch okay?

So, funny story: I went to a youth committee meeting last night to plan the next stake dance as well as youth conference. While I'm waiting for the meeting to start, I'm standing near a guy I know (let's call him J) while he talks to his friends. At some point one of the J's friends turns to me and says, "So how long have you two been dating?"

You've pegged him pretty well, actually. 

 

But I have no clue why so many people think Kobold speaks with a Texas accent.   I grew up here, and even I don't--unless I'm het up about something. Ooo doggie, y'all Yankees shore come up with the durndest ideas.

*coworker stops microwave at 58 seconds, checks food, clears time and resets it for 1 minute*

 

*40 seconds pass, coworker stops microwave and takes food out, leaving 20 uncleared seconds on the timer so that I have to clear it to start mine*

 

I...I don't think she understands how microwave timers work.

Workplace microwaves are the worst for cleanliness too. I always dread using ours and getting some weird food bits dropped into my stuff from the top of the interior that someone didn't clean out.

Fortunately, we have a manager on the floor who is hell on wheels to anyone who leaves the kitchenettes dirty.  There are rules about covering your food, etc.  And woe betide anyone who violates those rules.
